@wildeyedvisionary - The lights are something I designed, we'll refine and release those in the future. Do a search for "Fleshtone midi lights" to see some videos.
@armatronix. Thanks for that. One question about the vid. Are those DIY midi lights or pre-manufactured. If the later, can you shoot up a URL. Thanks!
thats real cool.. hope u get paid off it!!!!!!!! lol i bet a dj company could use that in its mixers. id like to have wireless keyboards for my computer setup.!!!!!! good stuff!!!
Answered my own question by watching the video again. Looks like your using an apple I phone adapter to power it? How about batteries to power it? Very nice .
@JasonPaulDec - Yes, it is plugged in to an iPhone wall wart, using a standard USB cable. It also accepts a 2.1mm DC plug, or can be powered by a computer via USB.
awesomely awesome! Takes the place of an entire laptop to do the same thing.. (route midi out to instruments from wifi input from apps like itmkeys) how do I build one? could use 3 like.. yesterday..

Do you have a sense of when you will be ready to send out the 1st shipment of preordered "Missing Links"?

@wildeyedvisionary - "There will be no wine until it is time." But it should be within the next month, probably sooner than later.

Does this need to be plugged into a computer? Can it gets power from 120v outlet?

Pre-orders for our first production run of 100 units are now being taken at wifimidi.com

@darenho: Sorry, we won't be doing kits but we are gearing up for a small production run in the very near future.
armatronix 1 year ago
Will this be available in a kit form? It looks like the Arduino UNO with an Xbee shield and a modified MIDI Shield (added MIDI Thru?) on the top.

It is very cool !! However, I truly hope that all those small circuit boards get put into some kind of proper housing/box/container ! :-)
Please provide more info for this product as it happens... and is completed.
Looks like it will be a winner of an App !
Can't wait to get one ! PS - I heard about it from:
