shes applying all these layers of different chemical treatments and masks without washing off each step? so basically layering on and wiping off... not very hygenic, wont it clog pores?

This is annoyingly simplistic, like it's assuming we have no idea what a facial is. And she seriously had to think about how we were supposed to apply a mask. Bit crap really, I'd expect more from Elle.

I find it way more effective to exfoliate first before cleansing. The cleanser reaches deeper into the pores that way.

herez what i do
1. Cleanser
2. Hot towel place on face and remove cleaner
3. repeat the above with a scrub
4. then apply mask
5. remove mask with towel and apply toner, serum moisturizer..
