they de;ayed the release of the single. I was told it would come out the end of april and it didnt. Its most likely the record label causing the delay because they have to be perfect with everything. I don't know when its going to be released now, maybe sometime this month. I do believe the album itself will be released in July, if not July then August.

Ok everyone i just found out that the single is coming out in late april... Ryan from the band message me back on myspace told me this. He said they would love to release it now but too many factors in what they can do and the order they do it in are in play so thats the music business side of it. Oh well at least I know its a set for the end of april and hopefully doesnt get pushed again.

I think their record labels's gonna fuck them again. I mean they went from a gold debut, to their label changing their single on Anxiety, and dropping the album, to Beiler Records not promoting Vultures. It sold like 17,000 copies. How the fuck you go from Gold to that? I love SMS but they've been fucked so many times I find it hard to believe that they're gonna regain their fame. I luv em anyway though!

I was actually thinking the same thing. I read in an interview how pissed the band was about not getting Anxiety promoted.... well Beiler didn't do shit either. Personally I think Vultures was even better than Anxiety, but not many bands can live off of selling 17,000 copies. The good news is they will be on tour so I'm sure that'll help promote them.
