I've seen The Artist twice now, and I swear both times I was the only person in the audience who laughed, cried, and completely adored every moment of this movie. I'll never understand why people resist it so much. Since I was a kid, I've always felt a deep connection to silent film. It truly is a beautiful art form.

I can't believe critics/people give this movie shit. Hollywood needs to remember it's roots, and just because this isn't a action packed film with Nicholas Cage... wait no one even watches his movies. Whatever, The Artist should win Best Picture, it totally deserves it.

This is a heart-warming, deep, witty, beautiful film. Don't let the fact that it's silent put you off. It'll be the best film you see this season. Uggie the dog is so funny, the actors' expressions are fantastic and the music *is* the dialogue.
