The kingdom later fell after the Ottoman conquest of the Balkans in the late 14th century. The Kingdom of Bosnia was one of the medieval kingdoms of the Balkans, that emerged as a political autonomous entity in the late 12th century, becoming a Kingdom in the late 14th century.
