my dog gets along with dogs but only dogs he realy knows i think he would pick a ight with almost every dog dere the dogs would look at him as a bully o hes a german shepard/ roweiler

Camp Bowwow is awesome unlike other places where you can leave your dogs. Before I would leave my dog at this very dull not fun place. WHere he couldnt even see other dogs. Then i found out about camp bowwow and now when my family goes on vacation my dog is having his owwn also since my aunt actaully works at camp bowwow we get a discount.=] Plus i can also see what my dog is doing on the cameras available on the website

It is a controversial topic, and rather than risk the potential of making customers with other dogs who might not agree with the Staffordshire Fighting Bull Terrier (Pit Bull). The safe option is to offer similar boarding facilities. Understand, that the majority of Camp Bow Wow, loves and respects pit bulls.

Camp Bow Wow does not accept pit bulls, even though on its website it says it respects all breeds. The reason they give is because pit bulls are a very energetic and playflu breed and their facilities are not equipped to keep them. Does that make sense? Jack russels are extremely energetic do you discriminate aginst them too? I and other loving concerned dog owners are working hard to fight the discrimination that is BSL but it seems like we have a long way to go!

Actually, they do list their reasons for not accepting pitbulls on their website under FAQs. If you still have questions about why they do not accept pitbull breeds/mixes, please feel free to email them. They do not claim to accept all breeds, all they claim is a place where a dog can be a dog. If you want to take your pitbull to doggy day care, the camp bow wow in your area might be able to point you to another doggy day care facility! (or they might not know...in that case, its up to you!)

I think if society is going to ban Pit Bull Terriers, why not German Shepherds or Great Danes. Both of these breeds have been the #1 biters in past years. In my opinion, any dog can be aggressive it all depends on how the owner/breeder raises them.

well pitbulls are illeagal n many states like my own ohio where i live in cincinnati theyre notorious for dog fighting circuts and the camp doesnt probally want to mess up there rep which is kinda full o it but hey
