Actually the pistol shrimp is the loudest animal. It lives in the extreme deep and shoots bubbles from it's claw like a pistol. Luckily we can't hear them since they're so far down in the ocean.

Whales are really awesome too.

@bluepikmin Ah. It just sounded almost word-for-word in the article I'd read. XD Yeah, there is some awesome/scary stuff down there. I read about jellyfish that do not die of natural causes. Ever. (I don't remember if it said they can't die at all.) Some of those jellyfish are millions of years old!

@bluepikmin I KNOW! XD It's kind of creepy. "Back in MY day, you had to watch for swimming brontosauruses! They'd come right through and squish you!" XD And they just keep breeding... it's only a matter of time before the immortal jellyfish clog the oceans and begin taking over the land... dun dun dun!

@dOMITUPSYK Yeah, jellyfish in general are already too abundant as it is from the rising temperature of the sea and apparently dead ones from people trying to get rid of them are an aphrodisiac that makes them breed even more.

@bluepikmin Ah, humans. Making things worse by trying to fix them since forever. That's the same thing they did with the starfish. Fisherman were tearing their limbs off trying to kill them, and wound up quintupling the starfish population.

@dOMITUPSYK Mhm. That's what they get for killing them (or rather trying to) so brutally though. I remember one year people tried pesticides to kill bugs and it was too close to the shore and the idiots killed a ton of lobsters. Nobody wants to think about what lobsters and crabs are related to since they're so tasty... especially with butter.

@bluepikmin Yeah... I've never liked the flavor, and then I find out THAT?! Ick. Everyone who *can* eat lobster and crab can have them. I do like shrimp, though. But they're expensive, so I'm stuck with shrimp-flavored stuff.

I'm not quite sure, but I think the whale's tooth that Chris found might've been one of Bumper's baby teeth. I always heard that a shark's teeth usually fall out, but I didn't think that a whale, in this case a sperm whale, would lose a tooth in the same way.
