This is rly not good, this gameplay was just like Magicka with slightly better graphics, you spam that laser beam and everyone dies no challange, wtf? I rly hope its just becouse of the beta... However after watching several videos i fear that it will be a great disappointment :(

@ColoursAreNice I love how you can make an assessment of a games difficulty level simply by watching several videos of low level....act 1....normal difficulty....on a farmed out character that says specifically that he played 14 hrs and the act only takes 1.5hrs to beat when going straight through....then you claim the game to be a "disappointment" .....stay tuned when the game comes out...there is normal diff at least 4 acts probably 5, then nightmare, then hell, then inferno....dont be hasty

@ColoursAreNice I could have said the same thing about the "Inferno" skill of the Sorceress, or the Frozen Orb when you get them in the beginning. All you see to be doing in spamming, but wait till you get to the higher levels.

i,ll try and explain for the wannabe diablo players and the kids. 13 is max lvl in beta. the lvl of the mobs in this beta range from lvl 1-9 maybe king is 10 max. blizzard has told us all many times easy will be VERY EASY. if you know what your doing i.e 1 brain cell or more and know how items work and lvls work the whole of easy will be easy......yeah you will come across the odd molten imbued and arcane imbued but over all easy will be cake.

I get the feeling a lot of people will cry for a nerf before realizing this guy is decked out, picked those specific skills to reflect his playstyle, and uses them accordingly. Note that he has disintegrate and electrocute on mouse, he uses them when one would be more effective than the other. Wizard is not op, this guy just knows how to play.

@DeathIIV Yes, you can do that in D3. However, if you start the game (you choose which quest to start on) with a quest after Leoric's death, leoric will be dead. All non-boss monsters are alive though.

UNDERSTAND this once and for all, hes a lv13 on a LOW lv dungeon, leoric is the last boss in the beta, the player prob kept farming in low level monsters, the dungeon has lv8 monsters, go play D2, get lv13 and go in normal mode to kill lv8 monsters...you'll see the same crap.

he's been grinding and farming the low levels for hours and hours

we have no idea how effective this skill is against level 13 enemies

@Eliano55 Yes it does.. Go watch it, it rapidly jumps up and down and goes down to almost empty a few times. Disintegrate is a GREAT skill for sweeping a room or hitting a large, non moving target. It doesn't have much AP drain because it does quick, small damage in a straight line. Wizards drain AP fast and then regain it fast.

Disintegrate is a level 13 ability. Many players in the beta currently can finish the beta at around lvl 9. Most monsters are extremely easy to kill even by then! This specific player, I guarantee you, farmed as many mobs as he/she could to get to this level. Once you kill the skeleton king, you cannot kill him again with the same character(Currently in the F&F beta). Confirmed by wingas on twitch.tv livestream.

Apparently you can, when you create the game, you just have to reset the quest "skeleton king" and you're allowed to kill it again. (Some blue post on the beta reports forums but I can't find it again)

@beetlebomb1 I belive there is a bug where you exit the game right after killing the skeleton king, before the quest journal can update, this allows the quest to stay uncompleted and you can kill him again. Thats what iv heard, but since im not on beta i cant say for sure.

@HugRunner hes not using it properly. desintigrate is a situational cheap spell meaning its to be used when you dont have enough for a bigger spell or your more powerful spell is not suited. eg: powerful slow melee is what its best against. if you have ranged it does no damage cos u gotta keep moving, and if you have fast moving weak monsters youll want a closer and wider blast.

@Xerlane Okay, maybe not 10 levels different, but around 5 at least. Normally when you kill Leoric you're around lvl 8 and this wizard here is lvl 13 with really good gear (probably) :)
