i don't know if we will ever have a team like them again without Eddie and his defensive philosophy. I loved watching them when i was a kid. I even cried when they lost to GT in the final four.

I was at the Final Four that year. I was so upset when they lost! Yeah great memories. I also was at the Big 12 tournament that year when they beat Texas. Great Game!

If they had done one more weeklypoll, Oklahoma State would have been #1. They wee #3 when they won their last game and St. Joes and Stanford both lost. So they actually were the REAL #1 coming into the Final 4.

As a college b-ball fan, I remember the '04 Cowboys being one of my favorite to follow. They were a resilient squad that epitomized the concept of "team".

T. Allen's defensive skills and explosiveness to the hoop were what made this an elite squad, though.
