  • I added this to my favorites

  • Eerie...

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Best one i have found on youtube! i love it! Thank you very much

  • ONe of the best current sirens today! Looks like you're looking at a sliced in half citrus fruit, lol.

  • DEATH IS COMING FOR US ALL!

  • I would shit myself if i heard this during a storm or while i was sleeping in the middle of a calm night.

  • Like i said 6 hours ago... Still creepy... Lol

  • Sounds like an air raid siren... 0.o it creeped me out...

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude i think these sound like that stock air raid thunderbolt 1000 sound effect.

  • T-128's are probably my favorite siren currently in production, they look so odd, and sound real creepy.

  • the martins are coming! the martins are coming!

  • @timothyp873 Um, martins?

  • in silent hill, they used a slower rpm, but same siren i think

  • That is a good one. There would be no way in hell I could sleep if that thing went off near me.

  • What siren is louner a 2001 or a T-128

  • Indestructible by Disturbed anyone?

  • This brings back memories of last week. Aaaah, my salad days of doing algebra in class, when all of a sudden, some DUMBSHIT at the nuclear power plant 2 miles away hits the siren button. I ALMOST SHAT A BRICK, AND IT WAS STUCK ON. On the plus side, after awhile, I was thinking of the mist streets of silent hill.

  • i need that on my car

  • can i use this for a vid

  • That attack signal might be tied w/ the 1000T's as scariest.

  • @superjoe87 No way dude, the STL-10 running in attack at a distance is fucking scary as shit, even scarier than the Tbolt.

  • @Thewoog34 So.....much.....bull. Kidding, haha, and yeah, you might be right.

  • @superjoe87 Look up "stl-10 attack" on here and click the second result, it should be the one taking place at night.

  • Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill. Silent Hill.

  • @Toomuchtime5798 i agree

  • Is it illegal here in the northeast for them to sound the attack signal? They always do in greensburg, even if it's a fire.

  • I want one for my home security system.

  • i like the sound

  • Silent Hill.

  • i hear brecksville's ws-2016 in the background

  • I live in ohio, and I've seen one by the freeway once. It was a while ago, so I forget where it was, though :(

  • how come the funnels for the sirens always look so funny I know the sixties was all about style and fazaz but why are they so weared looking

  • @HewieOfHG This siren is fairly modern (introduced in the late 90's) and it has that dixie-logo look because it has a horn for each port to help direct the sound much better.

  • @HewieOfHG Because! style and fazaz was 70's!!

  • @SMincTV haha hell yeah i was thinking why have a herd this befor lol

  • OOps bad spelling shit

  • I wiukd hate to be the guy who has to oil the damn thing to keep turning if it gos off his hearing would be dead

  • this audio isnt this sirens. t-128s have a higher tone, plus i have this sound in windows movie maker :p

  • @Resurfaceful that's a rather crass assumption

  • lol the siren is moving with sky :3

  • this sounds like the sirens in the tornado movies lol very very nice siren

  • @Lolicon2008 I think you'd be in a panic for $25000 being taken out of your bank for buying one! These aren't cheap!

  • I still don't get why the 2001 is the best-selling siren. I guess Federal Signal is just such a well-known name. This siren beats beats the 2001 so hard that its babies have bruises.

  • THE DARKNESS IS COMING!!!! @_@

  • im a tornado siren ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Silent Hill O.o

  • Sound effect.

  • Addison fire department has one of these and it went off while i was outside, it hurt my eardrums.

  • Addison fire department has one of these and it went off while i was outside, it hurt my eardrums

  • Addison fire department has one of these and it sounds just like this.

  • is that a bird chirping in the background??

  • ASC 128 seem to be made similar to the Federal Signal 2001-130 rotating Siren

  • hah u guys just make jokes. i was at the middle school right next to this siren after school my mom was stuck on highway traffic and i was alone outside when all i hear is this!!! i was gonna shit my pants it got so windy and started raining i was like FUCK and i turned around and one teacher just opened door , i ran in and we stayed inside for maybe 10 minutes. there was notornado thank god, but many funnel clouds, this happened lastyear

  • Almost reminds me of the sound of our old Sparks Withingtons.

  • AWSOME!!!:P

  • Why do people compare this siren to Silent Hill even though it's not even the same DAMNED SIREN!?!?!? Same tone yes... But same siren? NO! I bet a lot of people on YouTube is getting annoyed by the comparisons of sirens to Silent Hill.

    Thumbs Up If You Agree.

  • damn that's creepy

  • If I heard this, and saw jets flying in formation, I would run my arse to the nearest fallout shelter.

  • If I was awaken in the middle of the night to this sound I would be grabbing my shot gun and getting ready for the zombies.

  • One of these days, it's gonna be for the zombie apocalypse. Calling it right now.

  • A thunderbolt with attack tone sounded like this only a tad lower.

  • silent hill

  • @MrSciencetificsasuke thats y i hate sirens

    i keep thinkin

    go to the crazy church!

  • the echo is epic .were is prymaid head again? lol

  • Freaking love it.. Great quality

We have similar sound here in Israel

  • Oh crap silent hill time...

  • it sounds like theres a bomb and its about to EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO THEY are trying to evacuate the city

  • It would appear that this might be one of the newer T-135's... look at how huge the head and motor area are on it. That might be why it sounds different (better) than a standard T-128.

  • Best single toned siren available! Wish they installed these in Columbus instead of 4004s. We used to have 1000Ts, so it is kind of a crappy change.

  • Hello..this siren sounds in my ears like the sirens in "Silent Hill"..what do you mean??

Its a scary feeling :Waken up at night by this siren..

  • i only saw 1 t128 in my life

  • sounds really cool at the same time really scary :)

  • I HATE that thing.... it scares me.

  • @hawthoerne thats a bad comment

  • tres tres bonne sering

    merci beaucoup

  • weekly test? at us every 2 months at saturday noon but only one short short growl

  • long test. i woulda thought we were actually getting attacked hahaha

  • I gotta say this is the best siren Ive heard, much better than our siren system, well let me rephrase that....anything is better than our sirens

  • I wish my city had one of these! >:/

  • ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!

  • Sounds similar to a Castle cast

  • that sounds like the siren from silent hill

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome T-128

  • Why did your stupid city buy one of these festering hunks of gizzards? They should've gotten Sterlings!

  • @fuckairraidsirens Your mom is a hunk of gizzards.

  • the echo gives you that eirrie doomed feeling .

  • Few things out-creep the Carter-Gents Air raid siren, but this comes close with that echo...

  • sounds like an old war film...

  • Feel like my town has one or two ASC T-128s

  • @ANONONTHEJEWTUBE so does here

  • @davidlee110 HA! I was right. I just found out yesterday when we had a few tornadoes go through.

  • @ANONONTHEJEWTUBE what you talking about?

  • @davidlee110 I live in Northern Indiana, and we had a few tornadoes. I was driving through my hometown and saw this siren rotating on a pole.

  • @ANONONTHEJEWTUBE what city?

  • @davidlee110 Fort Wayne

  • @davidlee110 i from South Bend.

  • the echo is perfect

  • Comment removed

  • @Lolicon2008 I share in your sentiment - getting hands on the sucker couldn't be too hard (and would relish it greatly), but the question is... can I sound the thing for legit reasons? Within reason of course; like a rural area - not some crowded suburb.

And is the siren in this movie really underpowered in order to produce that tone? I sort of prefer it that way, personally - sounds neater.

  • play the song dont trust me but at the same time run this video it sounds awsome

  • i was in joliet near chicago and they had one next to chicagoland speedway, and im wanting it to go off wile im there once a year

  • its probably rotating at 2 rpm

  • @Lolicon2008 severe thunderstorm warnings happen often here

  • Love this siren, sexy as fuck.... no sirens in my good ol' state of Vermont...this state sucks! lol

  • play that on a cell phone it sounds way cool

  • Mesmerizing ....

  • @unitron I know. lol

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude i agree thats big!even when i saw this in real life!

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude The Attack tone is perfect for tsunami warnings out and along the California coast.

  • awesome, that siren has a heck of a roar

  • Love that sound

  • nice video.

  • Why can't the road be called wailings road?

  • Beautiful isn't it?

  • ASC mechanical sirens still ave that cold war era vibe to them. I really love the tone of this siren.

  • Genuine Silent hill (or close) Period.

  • Wow, this sounds like the stock siren sounds like in the movies. Cool.

  • why do some 128s have a lower tone than some other 128s

  • @SuperK3nnyXD With this one...I dont know. Its seems different then others. This one i think is dying or is underpowered.

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude probably dying batteries.

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude It is probably u underpowered. If you look closely, the rotator goes faster when the chopper is de-energized.

  • @EvanToTheFutureDude Dude it's to new to be Dying. Event on that cloudy day I could see the shine off it. It's on a lower voltage.

  • My god! It's the lemon squeezer of doom! XD We need some of these in the UK.

  • It kind of sounds like a Model 2. In a good way.

  • Cool!! I often hear one of those going off in the distance over on Galiano Island to the east of our island. It is for the Fire dept.

  • NOW THAT is a true air-raid siren.

  • this sounds so creepy

  • kinda sounds like silent hill

  • The City of Waco,Texas uses These....Smart Move..these are Better than the 2001's i saw in Dallas.

  • Okay that is the most eerie and creepy sound made by mankind. Sounds like death and destruction is coming more than any other siren.

  • @Tabby266 Actually, I personally believe a Thunderbolt 1000t or 1003 in attack mode sounds much scarier. Especially when 2 or 3 can be heard echoing in the background.

  • So Much Better than the Modulators they use in my Area!....they still make these Right?

  • Yes.

  • It looks like its eating an orange.

  • is this a mechanical siren

  • Yes

  • thanks for the info

  • These are cool, alot better than a 2001.

  • @Tabby266 I KNOW, right? I just discovered my town has only 5 Thunderbolts when I thought there were 6. One of them apparently got replaced by a 2001! Q~Q Thunderbolts kick the 2001's electronic bottom!

  • @HardDriveGuru 2001's are mechanical.

  • @Tabby266 True. But still - 2001s fail at being a siren.

  • @HardDriveGuru Excactly...2001's are Too High Pitched...and they do have Reliability issues...i think they should Ditch that Single High Pitch Chopper and Throw in a Dual Pitched Chopper from a 500AT.

  • @form109 Totally agreed! 2001s sound like electronic sirens when they're mechanical. What's up with that?

  • @HardDriveGuru Not Sure...Federal Really Dropped the Ball with their Modern Sirens,They Should Make all their Great Old Models Again (Model 5,7 SD-10,2T22/3T22,Thunderbolt,500,500AT,550AT,STH-10) Those were made when Federal Had the Right Idea...although i do like the Eclipse 8 because its more or less a Modern STH-10...the Modulator Just Plain Sucks.

  • @form109 I KNOW, RIGHT?! The Eclipse is the best modern siren FS has come out with, and I definitely agree that the Modulator is terrible. Although, the Whelen is much worse, in my opinion.

  • @HardDriveGuru The Whelens are Still Better than The ATI's...those arent even Worth Mentioning....The Whelen Sirens are Alright....there Boring though..and the Omidirectionals are Ugly.

  • @form109 Agreed! The main reason I think Whelens fail is because they don't capture my attention - they sound like a TV beeping. And yes, the ATIs are awful in every regard! They're even more boring than the Whelens in my opinion, and I've heard that they break much easier than even the Whelen. Whoever makes ATIs needs to be hit on the head with a stick.

  • @HardDriveGuru Whelens are much better than 2001s and ATIs. Their hi-lo mode and airhorn mode are my reasoning.

  • @Thewoog34 True, but the older mechanical sirens like the Thunderbolt and Allertor still PWN the Whelen (at least, I think).

  • @HardDriveGuru True (The ACA Hurricane is my favorite siren of all time) but in terms of which sirens are produced today, Whelens are probably the most energy-efficient and reliable. They certainly beat ATI, Federal and ASC electronic sirens. I think ASC and Sentry (formerly Sterling) are tied in terms of mechanical sirens. Federal just sucks overall today.

  • @Thewoog34 I can agree with all that, for sure. Mechanical sirens still sound better than electronic (at least to me), but as far as electronic sirens go Whelen is good.

  • @HardDriveGuru They do sound better, as their mix of sine and sawtooth waves echo better than square waves given off by pretty much every electronic siren. Whelen intentionally made their speakers distort the square waves that their controller boxes give off into sawtooth waves at a very low sound rate (about 8000 HZ, same as a very low quality WAV sound) which is another reason why I like them better than other electronic sirens, especially ATI and Federal.

  • @Thewoog34 I wonder if Whelen would have the same quality if they made mechanical sirens instead of electronic ones.

  • @HardDriveGuru Well, they've been doing electronic sirens for as long as they have existed. That's pretty much all they do, that and lights. Just like how Sterling/Sentry only makes mechanical sirens. If they were able to transfer the quality of their electronic sirens to a mechanical siren I'm sure it would be great.

  • @Thewoog34 It would sure beat the 2001 siren! But then again, almost anything does so that's not saying much. Federal really should come out with a mechanical siren that doesn't fail at life.

  • @HardDriveGuru If they reduced the number of ports from 12 to 7 it would sound so much better... The STL-10 is 7 ports.

  • @Thewoog34 Agreed. They should make it dual toned, too. That would sound pretty cool.

  • @HardDriveGuru yeah they need to make thunderbolts again

  • @lilaj34siren For sure! I was talking about sirens with my family the other day, and we decided that people are "programmed" to hide when they hear a Thunderbolt but not necessarily other sirens. The Tbolt has an aura of death and dismemberment to it, which I love.

  • @HardDriveGuru I think the STL-10 is much scarier sounding than the Thunderbolt. watch?v=g5O9MsGNUY4

  • @Thewoog34 They both sound pretty dang scary, that's for sure.

  • @HardDriveGuru Absolutely. I just think that because the STL-10 in attack mode was used in the Silent Hill movie that it's just very eerie.

  • @Thewoog34 I think that a French siren was used in Silent Hill, but I'm not sure. It could be either one. :p

  • @HardDriveGuru Same thing I was thinking.French or German outdoor siren.

  • @Thewoog34 i could not agree more

  • @Thewoog34 oh yah? When it comes to the attack tone, WHELEN SUCKS!

  • @sirenlover100 Beats the hell out of every other electronic siren on the market. Also, are you referring to digital Whelens or all of them? Clearly you have never heard an ESC-864 in dual tone attack. I was talking about the digital controllers this whole time too.

Whelen's 560 hz tone in alert is also one of my favorite siren sounds.

  • @sirenlover100 i aplolotly positively agree x 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

  • @HardDriveGuru Whelens are better than that aluminum piece of shit (My opinion)

  • @poppinoncrackvideos Which siren are you referring to?

  • @HardDriveGuru /watch?v=OwFqShcxaQ0 It came close as hell
