I use petrus also, but kinda like the simplified, I don't twist edges.

dude, this is insane, i'd say you should make another tutorial, like for beginers, and more explained, because the others are like walkthrough's, but either way, you've helped me to learn petrus :D i think my fastest time with petrus is maybe 38, but i use it to do fridrich cross and stuff, thanks :D

i make the 2x2 block, then extend it to an extended cross which is replacing having to do 4 corner-edge slots, with only having to do 3, pluss i like having to do it more intuitivly (spelled that wrong) instead of a bunch of algorithms, so yea

Thats just an X cross. You're not building a 2x2x3 extention with block building, and you're not fixing bad edges. You're just doing an intuitive x cross, then an intuitive F2L. Erik will vouch for me on that.

just because you start with a 2x2x2 block doesn't mean you are using petrus. your just adopting a technique.

see, and i dont recall ever using actual petrus...

when i mentioned petrus in my first comment, i was talking full petrus, which i suck at, either way, i basicly stated that i adopted the 2x2 block into fridrich to make the x cross, x cross has nothing to do with petrus, in my previous comment, it said 2x2 block, thats just for the extended part of the cross which im sure you already know, i never said i was diong full petrus except for my first comment which i stated my tmie,
