  • Question! If connected to a laptop, what does it play, everything you'd hear through you laptop speakers (even, for instance, windows sounds), OR the sound from ONE specific program that is somehow streamed to the device?

    Thanx!

  • @wefdf3 That's a good question, and one I can't answer, since I don't a computer with bluetooth, but hopefully someone else can answer it for you.

  • Hi! Is there a delay when playing audio from laptop through this?

  • @djwesson32 none that I've noticed.

  • I intend to buy this thing to use it for my PC. But does this thing work with a different device than an Iphone?

  • @Yannouk100 Yes, as long as your devices have bluetooth....

  • Hey man, if I i use this to hook up my mac to my Logitech 5.1 x-540 speakers, will it come out as 5.1 surround sound or 2.1 or something else? I noticed you used an Iphone so I thought I'd ask you

  • @talentospot Well it will never be true 5.1 if that's what your asking, since the only outputs for this device are analog and not digital, But you still do get sound out of all five speakers.

  • your intro is very annoying, i will not watch your videos again.

  • What voltage does it use? Any way I can use this in my car?

  • @Blackthorne32 5 volts. It could work in a car I suppose, I had never thought about it, as long as you have power running through it and you car stereo has an AUX input, it may work.

  • @Blackthorne32 To use something like that in your car use this : Heden BETRFM2000 or Sonaril make search on google to see how it work because i don't know how to explain in english sorry, but that's for car :)

  • I have paired a MacBook Pro, a Motorola phone, iPod, iPhone, and iPad (it can remember up to 6 pairings). Once paired, just turn on bluetooth, select the device, and it connects every time. Hook the output to a speaker system through RCA jacks (Left/Right) or stereo mini-phono plug. Play music or listen to a radio APP in background.

I liked this so much, I bought two more for different speaker systems. A Must Have. Much better than bluetooth capable speakers in my opinion. A+++

  • Yo, I just got this today and I don't know how to set it up.

I want to set this up with my logitech x-540 speakers so that my desktop and Macbook pro can play it from the same speakers. Is that possible or do I have to get a bluetooth usb adapter for my desktop?

  • @AndyBubbi Well that depends on how many inputs your speakers have

  • How do i make it work on home theater? It works on my laptip speakers but when i try to connect it lto home theater, it connects normally but either aux or digital input source wont play it?!?!

  • Once paired, you never have to click the connect button again right? I mean the round physical connect button on the logitech to make it discoverable. Even if the power on the logitech is unplugged?

  • @tyineurope Yes, you are exactly right. I have unplugged it numerous times to rearrange my home theater and no re-pairing necessary.

  • I must always connect my iphone 4s or ipod touch manuell with logitech, when i finish the bluetooth. Is that normally? :,(( please help!!

  • @Foufouvideos It's like that with my iPod touch as well.

  • I am thinking about getting this device, read a lot of good reviews for it on Amazon, but there are a few other bluetooth receivers out there, How is the sound quality on this? Also, what is the range, and does it drop signal a lot?

  • @buffalocrotch It can definitely go through walls and such, but as for the actual range, I'm not really sure. To put in to perspective I can change songs and such from my room which is above my living room, where the adapter is connected to my home theater system, without any really noticeable quality loss. Hope that helps a little, and the sound quality is great, and it has yet to drop signal since I've had and been using it.

  • @810productionz - I read a lot of reviews on Amazon, and this Logitech device was rated the highest per the customer ratings, so I ordered it from Logitech a few days ago and should get it next week. I also bought the Logitech Wireless Boombox from Best Buy, recently, but will probably return that, being that I found this Wireless speaker adapter. If I can take my Altec Lansing IMT 810 and turn that into a wireless device with this adapter, then I don't need the boombox.

  • @810productionz - Hey, got the Logitech adapter today, wow, sounds damn good - I am really impressed, and the range is pretty good, going to keep this, and then return the Logitech Wireless Boombox, this just saved me about $70. I just wish this offered the option of using a battery, but that's minor. I can't really tell any difference between having the ipod directly connected and the bluetooth connection.

  • @buffalocrotch Glad to hear, and hope you enjoy it.

  • how far away can u get?

  • @ChannelHTS It can definitely go through walls and such, but as for the actual range, I'm not really sure. To put in to perspective I can change songs and such from my room which is above my living room, where the adapter is connected to my home theater system, without any really noticeable quality loss. Hope that helps a little.

  • Is there any quality drop with this?

  • @dostcan123456 None that I've noticed

  • dud, the ac adapter is only for 110v. or 220v too?

    Thanks

  • Awesome! That was a nice revieew! I subsrcibed

  • Can you connect a PC/Mac/PS3?

  • @RamonGallud948 PC & Mac...Yes, PS3...I think I tried when I first got this, and was unsuccessful so No.

  • @810productionz but you don,t have to put in in to your tv and then it works cause your ps3 is connected to your tv right so their you go

  • ZOMG a gamecube BOX 0_0

  • @frank141289 lol it's actually in there too!

  • i have this shit on my surround sound bose system! it vibrates the whole house

  • lil wayne ==> Dislike

  • Comment removed

  • @kinhcan03 So you can have a sleek wireless setup, without the need of connecting it directly to the speakers.

  • @810productionz but still need connect speaker directly to this box ? :D

  • @kinhcan03 lol well yes but you can hide this "box" out of sight

  • Nice vid!

  • @joyo3h Thank you!

  • can I connect this thing with my computer?

  • @elnino9thekid Yes as long as your computer has bluetooth

  • @810productionz my laptop has bluetooth enabled, i can listen to my music from my phone to laptop. Is it possible to play the music from laptop through this device?

    have you test it?

  • @nileaotw It should, but I can't confirm as I don't have a computer with bluetooth. A user below was able to get it to work with Mac though.

  • What is the range on it? how far away can you be before it stops connecting?

  • @b64330 It can definitely go through walls and such, but as for the actual range, I'm not really sure. To put in to perspective I can change songs and such from my room which is above my living room, where the adapter is connected to my home theater system, without any really noticeable quality loss. Hope that helps a little.

  • @b64330 it's 32 Feet, 10 Meters.

You can read all the info here:

    logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24528

  • @nileaotw Thank you for this.

  • what's the voltage and amperage that this bluetooth require?

  • can you connect this device to the speaker, say for ipods/ iphones and then connect the speaker to another device like a computer (wired connection) and switch between them, because i was thinking of buying this for music yet still have my speakers permantly connected to my computer for gaming

    thanks

  • @julien199302 Well that would depend on the speakers itself. As long as your speakers have more than one input, than yes.

  • @810productionz thanks

  • the sound quality of this bluetooth adapter is horrible! I tried it last weekend on my party. after a while I noticed kind of crackling noise while playing a song via my Computer. For comparison I switched back to my old wired connection. and the difference is immense! way better signal, twice as loud, and much more clarity. Once bitten, twice shy! Thx logitech for this in my eyes useless crap! (^^sorry for my english^^)

  • i am a mac user and i got this cool stuff yesterday its working properly even if you use mac.its not about the operating system you run,its compatible with all devices which have bluetooth...

  • Can you connect more than one device at the same time?

For example, could I connect my Laptop and my Phone to this device, and play from either, at the same time?

    Thanks.

  • @ThomasJones221 You can have multiple devices paired with it, but can only play music from one device at a time. So one has to have their bluetooth turned off while the other is in use.

  • Hello! Can I use it with my Mac ??

  • @fgd2005 I believe it does, but I can't confirm it, as I don't have a mac.

  • @fgd2005 i am a mac user and i got this cool stuff yesterday its working properly even if you use mac.its not about the operating system you run,its compatible with all devices which have bluetooth...

  • does anyone know if it will work with a mac? is it possible to connect a bluetooth headset with the macbook?

  • @buschdebusch It should but I can't confirm as I don't have a mac. For the headset question, you should google it, there are some nice articles that shows how to do it.

  • @buschdebusch i am a mac user and i got this cool stuff yesterday its working properly even if you use mac.its not about the operating system you run,its compatible with all devices which have bluetooth...

  • do you know if it will work with my ipod touch 2g ( it has bluetooth)

    thanks

  • @imtheabsolutebest As long it has Bluetooth, I would think it work. I can't confirm that though.

  • nice

  • very nice reviews!

  • Hey 810 I just 2 quick questions: 1.) how does the sound quality of this device compare to a wired connection? 2.) what brand audio cables would u reccomend for the best possible sound quality?

  • @tiprodoc 1. Well I'm no audiophile or anything, but I think that sounds quality is great! Better if not the same, as wired, but that's just me. 2. I just use the one that came with the adapter. Brand for any type of cable does not matter. The $50 monster cables are exactly the same as the ones you can get online for <$1. Just my 2 cents. But yeah just use the ones that come with your adapter and you should be fine. If you have anymore questions don't be afraid to ask.

  • is it possible to connect more than just one device ?

and do you have to search (connect) every time jou want to stream music or does it go automatically after the fitst time commecting ?

why you're are using you're ipod, does it play only music or all kinds of sounds, like games, ringtone etc ?

what about the sound quality, is it nice ?

please answer as soon as possible.

  • @FeyenoordRambo Yes you can have more than one device connected at the same time. I have my phone and iPod connected to it. You only have to connect it once, and then after just select the adapter from the your device's settings and you're good to go. You can't have more than one device connected to it at the same time though. So if you have you're iPod connected to you're phone can not be. It plays everything you're iPod can output so everything you just said. The sound quality is great!

  • @810productionz thanks for you quick answer !

I have one more question. What did you mean with this sentence. 'You can't have more than one device connected to it at the same time though. So if you have you're iPod connected to you're phone can not be.'

In the beginning of your answer you said: 'Yes you can have more than one device connected at the same time'

Can you explain me the difference ?

    thanks.

  • @FeyenoordRambo Paired and connect are two different things. Paired is registering a device to be used with the adapter, which you can have more than one. You cannot have more then one connected simultaneously. So if your listening to music on your iPod through the adapter then you cannot connect your phone at the same. The adapter won't even allow your second or third etc. device to connect to the adapter while another one is in use.

  • do you need to re-pair your devices if there is a power outage. or will the receiver remember which devices are paired with it?

  • @tiprodoc Well I'm not sure about the power outage part, but I have unplugged the receiver a few times to move it around and I'm still able to connect to it after plugging it back in without having to reconnect. Not like reconnecting is very difficult. Hope that answers your question.

  • @810productionz thanks! and it does

  • Hey there, great video! I was wondering, if you were to play a video on your ipod, will the audio coming from the adapter be in sync with the video? Thx!

  • @ahmoon01 Thank you, and yes I just tried this out for you, and it works very well...the audio is synced with the video. Don't forget to subscribe!

  • @810productionz Thx for the quick reply. Subscribed! =D

  • hey, what is the range on this thing?

  • @drumsticks999 It can definitely go through walls and such, but as for the actual range, I'm not really sure. To put in to perspective I can change songs and such from my room which is above my living room, where the adapter is connected to my home theater system, without any really noticeable quality loss. Hope that helps a little.

  • Thanks for the review :D

    Helpful

  • and if i got a bose and an ipod 4g it will work? answer me the fastest you can plz

  • @Pustulio123 As long as your Bose speakers have an Aux input than yes. I connected this to my Bose 2.1 computer speakers and they worked great.

  • @810productionz thank you very much

  • does this also work with a laptop including surround sound?

  • @henk102 I don't have bluetooth on any of my computers so I can't confirm that it works, but I've read that it does work.

  • thanks for the review im reading reviews on this device now im definitely going to get it next week like i have a bluetooth adapter hooked up to my laptop usb slot but this might work better , thanks again

  • @majorsmoo I don't really understand what you mean? You can't use this to connect to other Bluetooth devices, you can only have other Bluetooth devices connect to this.

  • Do you know if you can connect more than one device to this? Like could I connect my dad's ipod and my ipod and we will both be able to use it without syncing it each time? I don't mean play music at the exact same time, but can it alternate between two without syncing.

  • @TheSaltyDalty Yes. Currently I have both my iPod and my Cell Phone paired to this at the same time, and I can connect them both without having to pair them each time.

  • Can this work with a SoundDock II from bose ? and the ipad 2 ????? please let me know as soon as you can so i can buy one thank you

  • @dcj2045 I looked up the Bose SoundDock and it says it has an aux input (3.5mm headphones jack) so yes this could work with your Bose and your iPad

  • ah ok, well i got a cable thats long enough but ok i get it now.

  • you could just as easy plug your ipod directly into the speakers. saves space, money, and what looks like another wire.

  • @xavio22 The whole point of someone buying this adapter is so they can have a wireless setup-be able to switch songs without having to get up to go to your speakers and your ipod, etc. This isn't my real setup, this was just the way I set it up for this video. My adapter is connected to my home theater system, and it's hidden away from sight, you don't even notice it.

  • thx for the quick reply.

    i love the wireless/clean setup.

bluetooth range spec as part of IEEE is about 30 feet (10 meter).

    then, again...those are "optimized" numbers.

real world number might be different.

    nonetheless, great review!!

  • @hey86x No problem. Yeah it really is nice. I just tuck the adapter away behind my home entertainment stand away from sight, and you don't even know it's there, and it works surprisingly well. If you have any other questions for me, don't hesitate to ask, and don't forget to subscribe!

  • do you know what's the reception range on this?

in other words, how far can you move your bluetooth phone before Logitec lost the bluetooth connection?

    thx.

  • @hey86x It can definitely go through walls and such, but as for the actual range, I'm not really sure. To put in to perspective I can change songs and such from my room which is above my living room, where the adapter is connected to my home theater system, without any really noticeable quality loss. Hope that helps a little.
