  • plushies!!

be a figure skater-> awaken the child within ;)

  • i love sashacoehen and her skating shes beautiful sexy sweet and great skater i saw sahsacohen skate in seattle this past weekend and brought her flowers it was great stuff takecare all gosahacohena nd u are all great

  • She never had a perfect program, poor girl

  • cuantos años tiene esa chica hoy en dia ?

  • Why is she lingering at the end? That's kind of odd.

IMO, Sasha would've easily won Olympic gold by now. Her biggest enemy has always been.. herself.

  • very pretty eyes

  • The interesting thing is that if Sasha had skated this Romeo & Juliet at the Torino Olympics of '06 she would have won the Gold medal, even with the 2 baubles on the jumps (but not until 2:30.) She would have racked up enough points with jumps and spins up to that 2:30 baubles and slightly after with the double axel and triple salchow as well as the spins and spirals that it would have been difficult, at best, for Arakawa to catch her (and Arakawa would have had to settle for the Silver medal)

  • She´s amazing

  • Was it just me, or did her spins seem a little slow in this program?

  • deverdad este deporte es super

  • Brutal!!!!!

  • the song is beautifull and she is amaizing *-*

  • 3:29 - 3:53 <3 my favorite part of her program:D

  • omg shes so goood <3

  • That song! <3

    1:16 It's a Russian folk song :D

  • @SynesthesiaSoup It's Romeo and Juliet...

  • So, I've read her book, and I've seen pictures, but I've never seen her skate at all! I wish I can get as good as her! I'm only pre juve, have a lot to learn, and have been skating for 3 yrs in January of 2012. I can dream, but can I achieve?

  • if she had of done this in Torino...

  • Notice at 3:30 as she is doing the first part of the spiral with her left leg lifted out in front that her right foot (the one on the ice) is bent backwards! That is incredible! What a feat of strength and flexibility! No one else did/does impossible moves like that anymore.

  • sorry dick, "dont fall off the beam" is five words not one. is anyone else really happy he doesnt do commentary anymore?

  • She makes figure skating looks a lot easier!

  • Awesome girl !!!

  • I think Sasha always had breathtaking positions, but, for me, that never equated with "irreplaceable artistry" as some have described. She sure had talent, and I really wish it had been truly realized, b/c her positions and music selection were glorious.

  • luv the dress and the overall performance

  • This is probably my favorite LP of all time. It still breaks my heart in the best way and she skated it so beautifully that day.

  • @souviendra Right?? Just exquisite! My favorite LP of all time as well, I find myself watching this over and over, it just breaks my heart that she never skated this perfectly, I feel like this program had so much potential that was never reached.

  • Gorgeous. She was so skinny and tired from that flu, yet she had the strength to finish the whole thing beautifully!

  • her sit spins are always center!!!

  • she had the flu and still noone could be any better than she was, she was untouchable that day and after 6 years she deserved that gold medal

  • Take a look at her first spin sequence at 1:08. That is some difficult shit she is doing there. Notice the change of legs during the spin, lowering and raising of her body at the same time. This is difficulty of the highest degree and she adds perfect line and position to it. Then she does it all over again at the end at 4:04. SASHA IS SO AWESOME!

  • The most wondrous skater of the new millennium. If she had done this a month later at the Olympics there would have been gold waitning for her.

  • If only she had skated more like this at the Olympics. If only. Sigh.

  • words cannot describe how amazing she is ! pure talent <3

  • She is a spinner.

    She is a jumper.

    She is perfect.

    <3

  • I...wow. Just wow.

  • Great video quality. Sasha was the best skater in America at the time and would have given Kwan a HEAVY beatdown here had Kwan competed under the level playing field that is COP. Thanks for posting!

  • @allenglandlawns i know Michelle Kwan is the best!!!!! if you have extra poster or photos of Michelle Kwan, send me some yeah?

  • why does she always where a red band on her wrist ??

  • she is a beautiful artist

  • How nice of Michelle Kwan to withdraw and allow Sasha Cohen to win her first National title. And she still couldn't land all of her jumps cleanly.

  • @neutrogenaaveeno ...sorry please remind me, which titles have you won?

  • @Iamsoradical I was Safety Patrol of the Year in 1976.

  • My favorite skater is MIchelle Kwan, Sasha is among the ones like because of her amazing flexibility, flexibility that gives her skating a more WOW factor, I think is unfair to call her a bad skater because her inconsistency, she is a great skater that have had inconsistency problems in her skate.......but still a great skater.

  • Makes me want to get on ice.

  • @missxcaliforniaa I agree. What is "perfection" anyway? It can't possibly be the programs of today; ugly body lines/positions, but worshiped because you land all your jumps. I think people who say Sasha is a bad skater on account of those jumps are blind, have no idea of what beauty might be and are not true enthusiasts of figure skating.

  • I don't care how many people say she isn't a good skater because of her inconsistency with jumps. Perfection is boring and there isn't one current skater that is as graceful and eloquent when they skate as Sasha Cohen. Every position she hits is beautiful. I don't think anybody will ever trump her as my favorite skater.

  • Even with the mistakes, Sasha Cohen is breathtaking!

  • Es mi ídola, la mejor (L

  • Though this did have fewer mistakes then her Olympic LP I always prefer that one. This one definitely did not have her usual spark, most likely since she was recovering from a nasty flu. She looked tired to me here and just had so much more passion and determination radiating through her at the Olympics. Shame about the falls, though. I'm sure had she not she would've taken an Olympic gold along with the National title she earned here that year. Beautiful performance.

  • Anyone else think she looks like Alexis Bledel?

  • glad to see she's done well in her comeback at the u,s short

  • I have this song in my player but when I listen to it, it does not give me that same emotional, teary feeling that I get when I SEE Sasha skate to it.

  • i always think sasha has irreplacable artistry who can seldom be seen in competions cuz most programs are padded with jumps but neglect artistry..

but sasha, she's always so breathtaking in my heart..

  • @lagogo18 true, she HAS the artistry!!!

  • oh...thanks a lot for posting hd video of sasha ..i am looking for it for ages!!!!!

  • i love sasha. her generation of michelle, irina...it will always be the best, the most pure, and the most exciting in my heart.

  • she broke yu-na kims record of 133.70! but it doesnt count cuz this isnt international competition!

  • Though its cleaner, i'll always prefer her Olympic performance of this, the way she came back from such a terrible start, truly inspiring

I hope she can do well in 2010, come on Sasha!

  • i really like her dress!

  • @popcorn994 Oh I LOVE it too!

  • Gosh, if this is how she skates with the flu, I almost wish she'd gotten sick in Turino. She'd be Olympic champion!

    Beautiful program here.

  • Almost perfect!!

  • the bane of her career!
