Saying Shane avoids fights is a stupid stupid statement , What your failing to acknowledge is Shane may not have beat the top guys BUT HE BOUGHT a lot of excitement to the ring its not always about having perfect records . Martinez landed that same punch at least 20 times that night, it was perfectly timed and Williams got exposed as a one dimensional volume puncher who can't compete at middleweight.

@DaMooksta You hit no nerve except how assinine it is that you think where a fighters feet are has no bearing on where his punch is going. It astounds me how many casual observers think they know more about boxing than someone who's actually done it. when you step into a knockout blow as Sergio did, you're feet are facing you're opponent, believe me. Also, boxers are taught, at least the good ones, to move their heads not only when a punch is being thrown at them but when throwing.

And no you didn't just say that Sergio wasn't looking when he threw the punch - you said it was a lucky punch and that Williams would have won had it not landed, you're switching up your stance better than Sergio now, and no I'm not a fanboy of his, I think he's an excellent fighter though. As far as Berto, he barely got passed a B fighter like Collazo. I'll let you know what I think when he actually fights a live body.

He moved 13 pounds south just to get away from even talk of a 3rd fight. Oh and I suppose that the 5 knockdowns that Sergio scored tonight were lucky as well.
