  • THE ONLY REAL FLAW IN THE MOVIE IS THAT THE SHOOT OUTS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER

  • Is Mox Mox in this bunch of bad guys?

  • Its hard to watch a scene where these good characters go through a deal like this.

But it is such a great book/movie.

Love seeing Agustus riding in and sending these punks to hell!

  • this is in 1876 Goodnight had already done this way in 1866

  • What's downright criminal IS, if any of you all know your Western history, Larry McMurtary stole almost every aspect of this story from actual facts, primarily from events in Charles Goodnight, and Oliver Loving's life. Hmmmm, makes a man tempted to copy history, add a few things, write a novel, and get rich, lol...

  • @gaiarocks1 Of course, Goodnight wasn't using his story when McMurtry "borrowed" it, lol. {;^)>

  • @gaiarocks1 yeah, cause everyone knows how easy it is to write a 900+ page novel. You finished yours yet? :)

  • @celzam12345 I love to write stories, I wouldn't mind writing a 1000 page novel :) (Not joking)

  • My Mom named one of her horses Blue Duck.

It's funny, because Blue Duck is an indian but yet he has a moustache. Indians cannot grow moustaches haha

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 That's really cool. You're right, it's weird he has a mustache. Ermoke has one too. I asked my dad about it and he said the Kiowas would sometimes grow mustaches.

  • @markmeetsworld Well Blue Duck is half Mexican, and Mexicans can grow moustaches. His father was a Comanche War Chief and his Mom was his father's Mexican prisoner.

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 Yes you're right, but not just ANY war chief. Do you remember another important character from the series of books who was a Comanche chief?

  • @markmeetsworld I believe it is Buffalo Hump.

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 I believe you're right.

  • @markmeetsworld Blue Duck eventually killed his father. Buffalo was aging, and as most indian chiefs used to do he left to find a place to die. Blue Duck took advantage of this, and tracked his father down and impaled him through the hip.

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 I can tell you've seen or read COMANCHE MOON

  • @markmeetsworld Hahaha yeah. No Lonesome Dove sequel was quite as good as the original, but the books were great

  • @Air17JordanBaller23 blue duck was a half-breed. half indian, half mexican

  • Blue Duck's got him a Coral snake hat band.

    Tex

  • @edarotag84 oh no way! i never saw that before. thanks for pointing it out.
