  • Wou! Oh George, Oh George!

  • your really good and know a lot about the Beatles. i love watching your videos.

  • is it semi-hollow or just hollow? thank you

  • Bravisimo!

  • Fabulous!

  • sweet

  • Dude can you post up a tab please?

  • Tune it

  • I'm not sure what's going on here but it sounds great. One of my all time favorite songs. Great sound you make there.

  • Caramba, bom demais.

  • Pretty impressive. You really put the work into it. Judging by this clip U might enjoy my :"Ringo" video.

  • Nice cover, one of the lead guitars has a capo on and if you want to see note for note you should check out the beatles to a tee

  • Pity u couldn't c

ome up with a classic guitar tune of your own.

  • Very Nicely done!

  • I can't believe these pseudo idiots telling the guy to find his own voice as he'll be much happier? How do you know? He's discovering the best about music and is on a musical expedition .Beethoven learned a lot of Mozarts work this is how you learn. Not everybody wants to play two chords and wear pointy shoes. This is great I'm goin to learn this now.

  • Meant to say trib bands, not 'trim' bands. Freakin' autocorrect....

  • Paul and George played these parts pretty much as shown in the original. There are a few trim bands around today that feature 'George' playing both parts simultaneously, most notably '1964 The Tribute' Jimmy Pou did a great job on it when he was with 1964, as does Tom now....

  • Bam indeed ...

  • Good job. Now can you show how to play the James Burton lead guitar part for Rick Nelson's hit "Fools Rush In"?

  • Best on Youtube!

  • Or possibly it was George Martin who did this lead guitar. Who knows?

  • Since everyone is discussing of Paul being a bassist and/or guitarist, I will throw this in. He Was An All Around Musician! Which means he could basically do it all on any instrument, He even did a good number of drumming tracks when Ringo was absent at times. Just an absolute musical legend folks!

  • @Onemanband87 Back in the USSR rings a bell

  • @Onemanband87 He played guitar until he got a hofner bass around 1960 and played drums for ringo during some white album sessions on 1968.

  • Another thing the Beatles never played this live....in Guitar tab books it often says who played what and they are usually right....it is often mentioned in Beatles books as well. It is often the Bass parts played in the later years which is often blurred because they were not together in the studio together as often as in the earlier years.John and George played the Fender 6 string Bass and the 4 string

  • If you will all read Geoff Emerick's book, you will find that McCartney often did the parts you associate with George in studio.

  • @allstonian13 As much as I agree with your side of the argument, I'd say "often" is a bit of an exaggeration. I'd say it was distributed as such 70% George, 25% Paul, 5% John for lead guitar

  • @allstonian13 Thank God someone has said something sensible !!!!!

  • Woww I freakin love your videos man!

  • Awesome demonstration. Thanks a million. I've always wanted to see how they did this. Great playing.

  • Awesome & Flawless... WOW!

  • So well done! And this song was recorded way back when, such complex harmonies and melodic.. Thank you for posting

  • Beautiful! One of my favorites from way back when...And it still is one of them! Love that guitar!

  • Love to see there are other freaks like me.

  • You are and always will be my go to guy for beatle stuff!

  • George played one guitar, and Paul played the other. Correct?

  • @Denthedragon yep

  • @Denthedragon george and john.

  • Awesome job! Thanks for the vid.

  • Great job..what a amazing riff....George and Paul together I think.

  • @rothwell59 it was george and john. paul very rarely (or never) played lead or harmony. he was always the bass man.

  • @umakemyday2020 Paul played loads of lead even on Georges songs....what about Taxman.....Back in the USSR Drive my Car,Good morning Sgt Pepper lead to name a few !!!!

  • @rothwell59 george or john played the lead on taxman & drive my car (to name a few) paul played bass (as usual). so ither you can't tell the difference between bass and lead guitar or you're confusing paul with george and john.

  • @umakemyday2020 you are wrong promise !!!!just ask a few people that know about the Beatles or look in the guitar tab books !!!!!!

  • @rothwell59 how can you say i am wrong? in this particular song alone you can't tell what role paul was playing. if you watch the live performance, it was george doing the lead and john playing the harmony. they cou'dve been swapping back and forth at some point but paul was never in that lead/harmony part. he was playing the basss all the way to the end.

  • @umakemyday2020 Also, this song was never performed live by The Beatles. Any videos claiming as such are fake.

  • @Tjpbeatles92 forget live perf. just by the high pitch sound of the guitar...it's very obvious that's not mcartney guitar...is it?

  • @umakemyday2020 Uhmmm well if Paul played this ON A GUITAR, naturally it WOULLD SOUND LIKE A GUITAR. Paul was a guitarist before bassist so he still played in the studio.

  • @umakemyday2020 Dude, Paul played lead guitar with George on this. By this time, Paul preferred to have the bass recorded LATER to ensure all his bass notes could "speak" properly. He played lead with George here, did the solos on Drive My Car, Taxman and Good Morning Good Morning. It's rather well documented.

  • Mind Blowing. GREAT. Thanks!

  • LESSON! (please)

  • Do you have the inspired by casino??

  • That was the best I ever heard someone do.I have been trying to do that for years. Thanks for the putting this on You Tube. Keep up the great work........

  • Damn son!

  • Great one mate! I cover and sing this song too

  • Perfect.

  • it sucks..it's all wrong. LOL i'm a jerk..it's awesome!!!!

  • this a casino or dot??

  • @HempyreSb210 casino

  • @HempyreSb210 It's A Casino and I Think It's An Inspired By Casino.

  • Tavistock

  • @MrFredGoldstein Yeah! Maybe some absurd conspiracy theory like this one saying the Beatles are a Tavistock product (or their songs are indeed Adorno compositions) are perpetrated to make the serious ones lose credibility too!

  • Nice job! How do you like your bass? Was Pauls a hollow body? Semi?

    Are you happy with it?

  • From what I see the guitars are playing in an octave difference of the same note. Is this correct?

  • BEAT-TLE !!!

  • Muy buen trabajo felicitaciones.......++++++

  • Glad I found your site. I love the Beatles music. A great job. Keep 'em coming.

  • excellent!!

  • MOST EXCELLENT M.J. COULD YOU PLEASE DO A TUTORIAL ON THIS GUY ! THANKS MUCH. YOU'VE GOT THE BEATLES DOWN TO A SCIENCE. LET ME KNOW O.K.?

  • esta espectacular!!!

  • Very solid playing!

  • THANKS!! I've got the same Epiphone Casino....and I've always seemed to screw up this song!! THANKS! Now I've got a handle on it!!

  • Might i ask what guitar you're particularly using? Epiphone Casino, Riviera, or other?

  • Saw a guy play both parts once. Was amazing!Great job by the way!

  • Beatles magic is alive ... Thanks, mate for reviving this wonderful and magical guitar parts from two Casinos..

  • wow!!!

  • great job man, beautiful guitar too

  • AN EPIPHONE CASINO !!! ???? ;-P

  • I'm jealous of that Casino...

  • Every note PERFECT!!!!

  • 5 stars...bravo..correct licks ..correct tone...back to the woodshed for me..i fake it on acoustic in dropped D and capoed at #2 fret..1/2 chords 1/2 licks..people act impressed, but they won't anymore if i let 'em see your spot on reading of the ultimate beatle lead guitar song.

  • For me, this has always been the tune (Dig a Pony a close second) where the guitar part was far above what had been done in the earlier songs.

  • Just freaking AWESOME. what is the name of that EPI you're playing? i'd LOVE one myseld. Just got through doing some super MODS to my 2011 american Standard Strat. Put Hot Noiseless 3 pups on it and took out one of the tone knobs amd moved the volume knob in the number 2 tone position and made the other tone knob the tone knod for all the pups and put a new pearl pick guard on it. Looks great. that volume knob kept getting in my way playing. Lots of people have this trouble I heard.

  • Vox amps are great :)

  • Lovely!

  • very good

  • Just fantastic, love ur cover bro, just awesome :)

  • man.

you just totally understand music. great job

i play guitar and i know my way around the ol' frets but, dude you really know what your doin

  • this is a great version, been playing 30 years & cant seem to get this style down, the two finger rythym/lead........probably cause you split yourself in two......

  • WOW! One of the best covers of this song.

  • fantastic video. The only one I have seen on u tube that plays the notes exactly as they are on the record.I understand that george and paul are playing the lead parts on the record. You have demonstrated exactly how they did it.

  • Oh man. LOVE this. I've watched it over and over. That guitar sound just gives me chills. And BANGING that E string on the closing riff, really great.

  • lol the haters probably havent learned the song 2 understand the "bam" feeling u get after u play it... so they're butthurt

  • bad. fuckin. ass!

  • BAM

  • This guy has showed me more then any teacher has about the Beatles. Those who put him down are snot nosed punks who couldn't play an E chord.Go listen to Green Day or the other crap you losers listen to. You jerks would put a Floyd Rose on a 325. Stick to your own crap and let the real musicians listen to the Beatles and learn from excellent players like this. Great job you are an awesome player. Cheers

  • Brilliant. I've tried the guitar countless times over the years and just don't have what it takes. I love watching people who do.

  • @mowkie aw keep tryin. i sucked for years. it takes time but just keep at it.

  • @mjsokes i once heard this great quote "a great guitarist is just a shit guitarist that didn't give up"

  • @mjsokes I do that too, but if you like this you gonna love the version of frenchytouch, give it a try you'll like it...

  • @mowkie MJ is right. It takes talent to be great but anyone can learn to play pleasingly well. If you're not gonna make the time to practice, that's one thing, but don't tell yourself you can't---because then that's what your brain will believe and it just isn't so. FINGER EXERCISES---at least ten minutes a day. FINGER EXERCISES!!! Then noodle or practice or whatever but do FINGER EXERCISES.

  • @mowkie

it would be cool to play like others BUT I SAY ITS JUST LIKE "FINDING YOUR OWN VOICE"

    JUST DO SO

    YOU'LL BE MUCH HAPPIER

  • @lookylooky2006 My own voice just told me you're an annoying poofter.

  • @mowkie Unless you only have like 3 fingers, then its possible to learn, as long as you start from the basics and slowing learn harder stuff

  • @mowkie I do that too, I bet you would like frechytouch version. look at it ... you'll like it... I hope. It's call

    "and your bird can sing"

  • Excellent. Cool double image, too.

  • How did you get the sound it was good

  • Thank you, All the neg comments are down to pure jealousy

  • Very very Good !

    Thank you very much!!!!!

  • Excellent playing mjsokes. The hate you've provoked from some quarters is incomprehensible though.

  • Só vacilou porque usou distorçao e não over, beatles usava over, o qual é muito mais bonito, mas valeu.

  • Fab gear!!! Dig it, what great tone and execution.

  • what software do you use

  • who in their right mind could find this guy cocky? i'd say bam too if i just busted this song out like that...

  • @gavinmcrockershow i do...what an asshole...i mean seriously...who does he think he is saying he's got blisters on his fingers? what...is he just trying to rub it in my face that they made an awesome song, and i haven't? fuck him...

    ok sorry

  • MJ, will you tell us what kind and gauge strings you use on your Casino. It sounds wonderful!

  • epic man.your a beast i saw a beatles cover band one of the best and even they didnt do it as good as you did.all these people are just hating on you.keep on rockin man.

  • excellent job! and this shows that Beatles were into de double harmony guitars before Iron Maiden or Thin Lizzy ;)

  • So thats a standard casino with the pickguard removed right? Any other upgrades?

  • Great job!!! Thanks for posting

  • As a git player i understand and appreciate the time / effort needed to play accurately as you do.Good tone dude!

    Keep up the quality work.

  • @gavinmcrockershow Uh, no......?

  • Hey People...Sokes is a joker... but he is very reverent of the Beatles' anthology. He is a great player, with a good ear, but you have to understand that his perceived 'arrogance' is not his own, but derived from his awe and understanding of the Beatles.

  • never mind those boggers leaving you unpleasant comments. you are fucking very good.period.keep up the good work.

  • Wow that was seriously good! You are one alented guitarist! Did you figurethat by yourself? Loved it man, you're gonna go far with that talent!

  • john lennon was awesome!

  • man fuck powertabs this guy tought me

  • @AlT70 clearly you don't yet understand my sense of humor. "bam" for the awesome guitar parts, written and performed by the beatles. not "bam" for myself. i am quite un-"bam".

  • @mjsokes Alright, so it's "BAM" for the Beatles then! Sorry mate, actually I was just funnin ya! Ah, But really, what's with that "charming" fellow, 09pick, uh, "pickin" on you??

  • @mjsokes lol...not only are you kick ass in showing how the beatles songs work...you are kick ass in your sense of humor as well...would love to hang out with people like you lol, sadly, if they exist where i live, i haven't found them..

  • @mjsokes

Hey, when you play it like that

    BAM!! AWAY!!

    success is to be reward

    BAM ! IT IS

  • @AlT70 Are you kidding? Here's a guy who spends his time producing note for note perfect renditions of the greatest band that ever was - for FREE - and you're telling him he can't put a word at the end of his video? Why would he even care about some mental midget with a turd fetish?

MJ, you do what you want to and don't worry about the villiage idiots. Some kid who repeatedly promotes his own comments because mom hasn't made his lunch yet is nothing to worry about. Thanks for all you do!

  • @AlT70

What's the problem with the "bam"?

  • @chxavier2 No problem, I was only teasin the guitarist....

  • @AlT70 Dumb drunkard bastard. Drunken Brits type funny, but dont we all?

  • @09jpick i think you are a turd

  • @mjsokes eat me!

  • @09jpick not to butt in but mr 09jpick i doubt you can even play an instrument besides the skin flute so i think your input is not valid. Mj plays better than most beatles tribute bands and from what i'v seen he dose the song exactly the same as my beatle book of songs. Keep it up Mj don't let critics get in your way when they can't even play in the first place :D

  • @AYoungMusicianDude thats a nice guitar your daddy bought for you!!! When you grow up you will stop fantasizing about me in a sexual way.....unless you just roll like that!!!

  • @09jpick it is a nice guitar and i bought it myself thanx cuz i actually work . i don't jack off to pictures like u prolly just did to my profile picture. and im good i dnt need to fantasize especially bout the same gender. me and my girl can blow u and your porn dolls away. get a life and stop beating off to me

  • @AYoungMusicianDude You are one angry gay!! You should probably check into some kind of anger management so that you can stop beating your "girl"!!! P.S. Stay in school and squash it, your anger is very pathetic. Goodbye forever sissy.

  • @09jpick i believe your argument is wrong, you do not know me personally therefore you are taking out your own grief that you are indeed gay and have anger problems on me, basically attacking yourself. go cry to your boyfriend or that cunt you call your mom about your problems rather than using anger and people as your scapegoats...your argument is now invalid you flaming fag >:)

  • @09jpick 09jpick si an ass!!

  • @09jpick well on that we agree

  • Comment removed

  • @09jpick If you think hes a joke watch his other vids and shut up.

  • @09jpick umad brahski?

  • @mjsokes Stop complainning because you cant do it

  • @mjsokes sorry for the typo, I meant to say "I think you are a joker". Now that I consider your reply, I can see the humor! On anthology 2 you can hear the song is in D, then the move it to E. This song has confounded me for years, but I felt that they robably capoed in the 2nd fret, however at the end you can clearly hear the first finger being removed from an A bar chord @ the 5th fret to the open strings. Inever heard you playing behind the fabs on your other vids, and you play awesome!

  • @09jpick your a real bag of dicks

  • Beatles= marvelous, mjsokes=amazing

    Now some controversy:

Although I don't agree, Geoff Emerick said on his book, that was Harrison and Lennon guitar duet.

  • WHAT AMP DID YOU USE? ANY EFFECTS? PLEASE REPLY.

  • Even though MJ probably didnt use these settings, I found that on VT, VT plus and AD Vox amps or any decent amp with either built in effects or pedals, A compressor plus chorus effect with chorus halfway up sounds great for And your bird can sing and Drive my Car.

  • Absolutely brilliant job.

  • dude what are your setting because i cant seem to find the right one-_-

  • There is a reason why the Beatles are the greatest band of all time.

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • what happened with the rythm? u only did the cool parts lol

  • hey this should be your next cover of like everything from the drums to the bass and all three guitars

  • Not too shabby

  • Hey Mj, Just wondering.. Do you ever have issues with feedback with this casino? Im thinking of getting one, but there are alot of complaints about feedback

  • @JordanLolss hey buddy, my granddad has a casino, back in 67 he put a piece of wood in his, literally. like a piece of wood. and he super glued it in, feedback gone!

  • what casino model is that? im looking to get one soon, do you recomend it...great cover also!!!

  • speechless.... how u can achieve that sounds? (dying)
