It would put such a hindrance on U.S. business to define what %, where when and how a product is made total bureaucracy before they could sell products. "Green jobs" are a joke. The reason for the money going to China is that wind farms and solar power cannot economically compete with carbon energy. The only way it can compete is through government subsidy and cheap labor, Chinese labor.

here in oregon there is solarworld in hillsboro. they are the biggest i thought in the world and are from germany. they bought a brand new chip plant that was never used because of labor market/profit margins. they paid pennies on the dollar for the plant and not sure where they are now. but what i did read quite a while back is that there are other solar companies and they all got there ass kicked by a recent addition, a comp that is manufacturing in china and selling servicing all large/small.
