john fogerty couldn't claim this till yrs later, lawsuit going with fantasy, managers, etc.. origional cover no mention of john in'73, 74. took years, all his money, but he won! rest is history. side note: i believe stu cook , doug clifford joined the don harrison band, best version of "helter skelter", my opinion.

@TrashcanBoogie ive seen them perform with a guy who is named john bulldog or what not. and they performed all the ccr classics under the name creedence clearwater revisited. john fogerty came to town 2 weeks later but damn what id do just to see the original act perform again
