  • ...human kind is indeed an intriguing animal...

  • @2:45 there is a Toyota charging at the elephant. LOL

  • Pfft . . that elephant wasn't charging that bus - he was trying to get through the traffic jam - I count at least 7 vehicles. Notice how he stops when they do? But it does look like he's learned he can make cars back up. He should call for the baboons - now they can inflict some serious damage ripping bits off your vehicle.

  • the driver is wisely backtracking ... if the elephant attacks the front of the bus, no harm would happen to any of the tourists, but the driver would be killed.

  • charging bus, my ass

  • Wow, what elepantazo

  • looks like the bull that about trampled us yesterday at the Rietsfontein waterhole in Etohsa

  • I want know what happened next, where is the other part of this video? hopefully nothing happened to those poor tourist. next time don't play with bull desert Elephants, they are only found in Namibia and a bit in Mali. that was not an African Elephant but a Desert Elephant.

  • did the elephant escort the bus back to where it came from in reverse? I hope it did. lol.

  • Out of this continent!!

  • yeah, thats no charge, not even a mock charge. They love to push u once u started reversing. but better to stay clear of this quy, he is in musth and they can snapp easily

  • They should use a bus with engines on both sides.

I hope they keep guns ready, just in case.

  • He is huge, nice and well build. and undamaged... he is just walking away.. note that he surrounded by vehicles.. he isn't attacking any ....

  • He is huge, healthy and and well built. , Note he is not charging.. he is just walking his way.. because he surrounded. and till the point of walking away.. he is surrounded by many vehicles.. !! he is just curious as he walks.. out of all vehicles.

  • it's Namibia

  • Get out of his property.. He can file a law suit for trespassing

  • the bus driver is like "FML im only getting paid like 8 bucks an hour for this"

  • Was this near Chudup?

The elephant is just trying to appear threatening but is not really attacking, otherwise he would hide his trunk under his stomach.

  • @emieldelange Near Bloemfontein but he attacked a car idid nit taped is

  • why would anyone get close to animals like that. Anyone heard of Steve Irwin?

  • One Nill for the elephant!

  • What's amazing is the 90% of 4x4 drivers are useless driving forward and here they are drive into each other in reverse. Pitty the Bull was'nt in squash a 4x4 mood...:))

  • was machen denn die ganzen autos da???? Der arme elefant :-((((

  • the elephant must be thinking: what animal is this? xD

  • The elephant seemed curious rather than agressive.

  • note Elephant walking down road. Path of least resistance. the elephants use the roads to cover distances between waterholes. If the vehicles stayed put the elephant bull would simply walk around them and carry on down the road.

  • All of that car exhaust. Lovely. Leave the damn thing alone.

  • why cant the responsible authorities protect these areas from this type of dangers.....Almost in every countries, places like this can be seen....

  • o elefante gostou do ônibus em ,ele só foi nele^^

  • attacking? where was the attack lol

  • We also have our experience with elephants in Etosha. Most of the time we kept distance to those animals but if you have realized that elephants took notice of you and if they have walked behind you it is a horrible situation.

I agree with you this elephant enjoyed chasing the bus and the other cars.

  • I've experienced elephants doing this sort of thing with a bus I was on in Kruger. There, the elephant was a lone, large bull. He causally walked at our bus head-on and then, at the last instant, slowly 'charged' the bus with the ears out. When the ears are out, I have been told that it is a false charge (head lowered and ears back is presumably a for-real charge). The elephant seen in this clip, like the Kruger elephant, appears to be having fun intimidating folks. Bet he's done this before!

  • The elephant was taller than the bus

  • A large elephant stands at 13 feet tall.
