@brooksbayne Meh. People and brands are the same thing. You are different from your friends based on what you enjoy relative to what they enjoy. Branding just is basically making money off that shit. of course anyone can be a narcissist based on anything if they have that in their nature. I personally don't like this series at all, but I still don't agree totally with you. Twitter is getting a lil ridiculous, so are facebook like groups - but f it thats where shit is going. O well

The thing is, most small business advertising doesn't work, and blends the advertiser into the crowd more than making them stand out as a solution. The top 5% stuff, direct response and national consumer, would never talk about their company or themselves. The stuff that delivers ROI has always been about YOU, and helping YOU. Small businesses simply do websites and advertising that keeps them small. It's basic cause-and-effect. They don't want to risk standing out.
