  • this car is sick man. fuck the haters

  • Nice car. Good numbers.

  • *OOOh My God! :O

I Love It! I Love It Sooooooo much !!!

  • OOOh My God! :O I Love It! I Love It So mutch !!!

  • No internals on the engine changed?

  • Nice video ...wish I had sti or bugeye lol stuck w/ slostang now ....unless it was cobra 03/04 then I could run w/y'all ... 1 more thing wuts da name of this song ...thnx

  • SEXY ASS CAR!!!!!

  • What name are the electrons? or where you bought them? Shake are pretty

  • aky názov majú tie elektróny ? alebo kde si ich kúpil ? sú straštne pekné

  • Really.. only 420 on 91 with a 35r with meth! You should probably get your money back.

  • @02toyoceligt

Really.. you drive a 02 celica with exhaust! You should probably drive off a cliff.

  • @DMRcar hahaha Owned

  • @DMRcar Actually I don't. Probably should check the date on that video ;)

  • @02toyoceligt Whatever dude your still gay

  • @DMRcar and your car is still one of the slowest 35r STI's i've ever seen. I remember when I was twelve and called people gay over the internet!

  • @02toyoceligt it's called not wanting to blow his motor, tool

  • @02toyoceligt reliable and safe Hp is better than a 500hp motor that last 3 or 4 pulls or track runs.

  • @karnag30kc if your tuner can't pull 500hp from that motor with a 35r he should quit.

Maxwell power will pump cars out on a regular basis that run 500whp on a safe and reliable tune. The owner daily drives a 550whp 35R STi that can rev out to over 9k.

  • @02toyoceligt Your retarded. If you just slap on a GT35r your only going to get about 420 whp out of it. you need otehr things than a gt35r. And you drive a celica, you ahve no right to talk.

  • @dexterbrown3 Clearly I am retarded... I don't drive a celica actually. I drive a 06 wrx. And that's sad you are only putting down 455 on a 35r STi... I have personally seen a WRX with a smaller turbo and less mods put down the same numbers. You could slap a 30r on an STI and get the same numbers you are getting. But no, my tuner who has taught me all of this information is clearly retarded and has no clue what he is talked about. Keep thinking your 455 on 100oct and 100% meth is a lot.

  • @02toyoceligt Lol. No dude. You dont understand that there are otehr components needed than just a bigger turbo. You need, manifolds, injectors, exhaust, fuel rails, intake manifolds, intercoolers, ECU tuning, forged pistons,ect... you cant make 500AWHP off just a bigger turbo and maybe a FMIC.

  • Notice nobody says anything about this car's EL headers sounding like a Honda lol. Twin scroll GT35R? Either way bet the midrange looks great

  • @blakpharoah Actually in this video the car has stock headers and sounds like a subaru not a honda. "Put foot in mouth now..."

  • NICEEE.....

  • why does it say mustang when thats not a mustang?

  • @strgzr53

It is a "mustang dyno" as in thats the name of the dynamometer. like "dynojet"... its not a mustang on a dyno its a subaru on a mustang dyno...

  • were did u get that lip? wat brand is it?

  • @asianRSXdriver91

    its an APR lip..

  • That's who tuned my car, tune by Harman motive and motor built by Garage Tuning

  • @500whpSTI

    Very nice!

  • sooooooo sexyyyyyyy

  • Do u have forged internals with this setup

  • @jeanluc10622

Bone stock engine.. just bolt ons!

  • Nice compressor surge

  • what the heck r u talking about??

  • sexy ass subi man!

  • was that some lag 0:52. jesus h. christ

  • that car is in 4th or 5th gear and you can hear they are starting the pull from a very low rpm for tuning purposes.

  • @tsjkj

    well its not a V8...

  • @DMRcar i still love it dont get it twisted.. i never said it was a V8 lol. that thing would kill most V8's

  • beautiful

  • wow, im surprised that thing still rumbles with those equal length headers! nice!

  • very nice car

  • what are the spec on the wheel

  • what kind of rims and front lip is that, it look really nice

  • axis reverb wheels and APR front lip

  • love the black, you should do the DIY Subaru Emblem Delete on the front grill, Did it on my STi and it looks so much cleaner.

  • good idea

  • Not bad.

  • wish we had shops like this in pennslyvania

  • call arould youll find 1

  • 05...

  • 06s have projector lights

  • in this vid it was tein S-Techs.. you'll have to google the specs..

  • whats the car sitting on... suspension wise? and whats the drop

  • Stock motor still? Looks nice bro! APS 525 is perfect for the GT35 ...

  • Yes stock motor still... hopefully get it built sometime this year! Thanks!

  • Just wondering, because I may make the jump, but don't want to do a new built just yet ... if it's tuned right, and you don't beat on it, should last with stock motor too .. is this your daily driver? Have any 1/4 mile times with this beast yet?

  • i have put 4-5k miles on it making 420whp.. was my daily for like 2k but not my daily anymore cause of school.. i do beat on it but im not stupid about it.. my best 1/4 is a 12 flat @ 121 at fontana in 110 degrees.. weak i no but capable of 11's for sure.. only reason im looking to build it is to up the boost.. other than that the stock motor is fine with the right tune!

  • Cool. Yeah, my tuner said a GT30r or GT35r is a very good turbo, and if tuned right, is very safe on stock guts -- so long as you're not trying to get carried away with boost, you manage your heat properly, it's actually "safer" than the VF39 because it creates less heat for the same power. 12s is pretty respectable in that weahter with a conservative boost. Thanks for the info bro, good luck!

  • song at beggining?

  • : )

  • listen to that turbo!!!

  • true story..

  • How come you did buy a APS 725?? alot better air flow, especially for a GT35

  • bigger doesn't always mean better...

  • i know sometimes bigger isnt better but i got way better results with my gt35 and APS725 then my friend with a APS 525 but whatever

  • external wg ftw

  • hell yea

  • imagine what you could do with 95 or 98 octane like we have here in switzerland

  • can u read?

  • are u retarded or something read what he was using dickhead.

  • hey first you talk another way second i posted the comment before i saw that he used the 101oct. alright ?

  • hey used 100octane you idiot not 101 damn nub.

  • right. fuck off.

  • You're an idiot, USA uses PON which is MON+RON/2 while switzerland uses just RON.

You're 98 is the equivlent to 95-98 RON is equal to our 91-93 PON.

But anyways this is on 101 PON which would be like 106 MON.

You're gas is no different octane reading than ours, switzerland just uses a different way of displaying it. RON vs MON vs PON

  • Hmm mixed up my rods ""You're 98 is the equivlent to 95-98 RON is equal to our 91-93 PON. ""

YOUR 95-98 MON is equal to our 91-93 PON

  • alright thx for the explanations, i maybe aint an idiot, but for sure i cant know everything, he ?

  • And if you want proof of a tough stock motor u need to go to guys like STM and mellon tuning who run stock blocks(well STM use to run a stock block til it blew because of a miss shift i believe), mellon tuning runs his silver evo with a hta gt35r round 30psi or so and beats on it all the time and I've yet to hear anything bad happen, don't get me wrong subbie motors are good too, just watch the ken block video with 530whp when he does his gymkhana practice, awesome vid by the way

  • I don't think you can compare the old 4g63s from the dsm ones to the new ones in the evo 8and 9's, cause truthfully my dsm and everyone else i knew had problems with blown head gaskets because of weak head studs, but I guess mitsubishi finally figured that out and upgraded them cause i've never heard of a blown head gasket on an evo under boost

  • were did you get that adjustable diffuser in the front ive been looking everywhere ebay ect nice ride sounds great exhuast?what year ?mine is a 04 sti

  • yo arnt u friends wit allen browning?

  • Yes i am

  • Nice STI very clean

  • ty!

  • thats sweettttt

  • looks and sounds awesome. nice job

  • For those of you quoting numbers claiming your car is better, give me a break. First of all this is a mustang dyno, known to read among the lowest. Second, comparing dyno numbers is pointless. If all you want is to say "I have 500whp" then go find a dynojet and throw on a huge laggy turbo. Evo's are good cars, STi's are good cars. Stop being idiots, learn to be respectfull, and realize that not everybody is out to make the biggest peak hp numbers.

  • Finally someone thats not a douche!

    Thank you!

  • i used to own an eagle talon tsi pushing 24 pounds of boost as a daily driver i had more problems with the 4g63 pos than i knew what to do with, subys have reliable power but than again i have not done too many mods either, and yea i am a good friend of luke english who built the 1030hp evo so i know my shit evos are great for power not reliability.

  • I have an 03 evo with an hta35r on it. I push over 500awhp on 93oct. at 30 psi. stock block, and maf/ecu.

  • STI's suck shit. Shitty short gearings, shitty pea sized stock turbo, shitty snap oversteer etc. Only the 07's and up get respect. Stock for stock Evo's are better and are cheaper to upgrade. Also Evo's have better records than sti's on the road course or 1/4 mile LOL

STI's are cool an all but they are behind the evo

  • Your first and last sentence completely contradict eachother...

  • thats some low numbers for a 35r........only 355 AWHP on pump gas.........yall need to stop talking trash about 4g63's cause up here we are pushing 500 WHP with 35r kits easy on pump fuel......

but anyways nice ride i guess

  • Wow!!! Hey guys. This video was made to show what "this" car made on "this" dyno at "this" time. You guys are going back and forth about EVO's and STI's and which is better? Our team here at DMR have built both STI's AND EVO's. We love them both. They can both put out great numbers. Just enjoy the video. If you think your car is faster thats great, it just might be! This video doesn't say "Fastest STI in the world!"

  • this comments are hilarious!!!

stock engine 500 + whp on MD...

well Andersen would be proud of you! /if he would be a live today/ :)

  • Who gives a shit about dyno numbers?

  • sti302man, you say your buddy made 56X on a MD dyno but was there any calbriation done to the MD dyno. There is a lot you can do with the MD dyno to make it read like a dynojet. To me a 56Xwhp stock block STI on a "truly" MD calibrated dyno I call BS and even if it was "truly" calibrated by MD that motor is is on the edge of blowing. Not to mention you have no idea what your talking about. Go back to playing need for speed b.c your comments are useless and worthless!

  • I'm both an Evo and STI fan but lets take a step back here and remember which car holds more records, wins, and championships. The HKS Evo is a car NO Subaru (or any other car for that matter) can touch on a time attack course. They have set countless records with that car. The AMS Evo is almost a full second faster then the fastest STI in the quarter. David Buschur's daily driven full interior Evo VIII runs the same time as the Big Valley STI that is a totally stripped out drag car. Nuff said

  • @damstr playing devils advocate, subaru has more wrc wins then mitsu. so they each have there place. there no dispute evos can be made faster on the street for cheaper.

  • @aluminumfalcom Who cares about WRC? That means absolutely nothing to me and other people when the look for car and just for the record I now own an 05 STI and still feel the same way about the STI as I did when I wrote my last comment 2 years ago when I owned an Evo....

  • Man, I bet that 2.5L spools up a 35R quite nicely! That's the only complaint about my evo, not enough bottom end.

  • Dude its awesome! We really do enjoy it!

  • the comments on this video are very ignorant, i have tons of friends with STi's and Evo's, i own a 375whp(mustang)evo myself, i loved the sti and it basically was which deal came to me first, but i mean look at the facts both of the fastest time attack and drag cars here in the states as far as 4 cyclinders go are evos and both are AMS's, even look at things like best motoring, my evo isnt the best and theres faster Sti's then me...dont be ignorant and ignore the facts though

  • Nice vid and some good power with the sti. Some of the comments on here are super uneducated. An Sti or an evo can make great power with the right mods and tuning. BTW...to set the record straight...I ran 524whp on my stock evo engine at 29psi for a long time...and when I rebuilt my engine my rods, pistons, etc., were in great condition. Currently on my built engine im just under 600whp on 93 & alky at 31psi. The mitsu engine is also very capable.

  • 350whp on a mustang? lol come on dude. i can make that on my stock turbo lol on a mustang let alone if i throw in 100oct "4G63'S are legendary." and yes they are... i never once hated on sti's i wanted one before i test drove the evo which i own now.. obviously you dont know much sti302man. andddd yes the motor can and will.

430hp on a stock evo motor? u can kiss your engine good bye. 4G63 internals cannot support that much pressure reliably for a long time.

  • ok i really need to say something now.... i was being mature until i kept reading.... your talking smack because a 35R???? made

    exactly.

    Later.

  • 4G63'S are legendary. All it takes is some research by actually reading(I know crazy concept). Sti's are great grocery getters and decent power makes but let's be honest with our selves Evo's are better power makers and they handle like they're on rails. No doubt if the Evo never made it here to the U.S.A Sti would be my choice. Any STI ownwer that doesn't believe me just has to go to the search bar above and type in Evo vs STI and let the cars do the talking. I'm a f#$%in veteran with cars

  • yeah lets be honest with ourselves, they are legendary, that is why the damn thing is extinct now.

i give Mitsubishi a lot credit for the new 4b11 motor than the 4g63.

that 4g63(had)good hp numbers but the damn cast iron block would hold heat like no other and not dissipate it to well,in return would lead to oil issues.

it's old engineering concepts that had to go.

4b11 good solid reliable motor for heat dissipation and better coolant paths.

this is why Nissan gave up on the RB,to much heat>

  • continued; and the RB was to damn heavy, the RB26 is a very good comparison with the 4g63

The 4g63 is strong as hell but driving it around with over 400 whp is not going last, no matter how many examples you can give of a friend or somebody you know that's doing it or has done it.

the only way it will last

1: you don't drive it and the damn thing stays in the garage half it's life.

2: you do drive it, but back and forth to none automotive/rack events.

    >>>>

  • 3:say it is being used in a track or sporting event, you will be rebuilding parts of your motor every couple track event, including a retune.(for a mild 400whp 4g63)

So I don't care how many people argue that 4g63's can hold 800whp+ but in the end,it will end up braking,if you use that amount of power for more than 10k miles.

one good thing about that motor is that they are very easy to pick up and the 4g63 will be around for a few more years.

hassan1301 nobody cares how many cars you worked on

  • im sorry but the motor isnt what usually brakes on evos, i mean just hop on the forum any guy will tell you once u go above 400@ teh wheels you start going thru trannys and T-cases

  • do dyno jets read low?

  • LOL. Stock Evo motors can easily support over 450whp reliably. I know cause I have one

  • but then the evo motor is going to break.

seriously, look at how much boost your running and compare it to a similar boost level sti with the same mods.(you get your answer real quick)

for the record we have sti boys running around with over 560 whp on stock block

  • The bottom line is that Sti's are good cars, but they cant make the power that evos can. Look on Evolutionm and see how may 450+whp Evos there are driving around on the stock block. If u want to get into built motors, my boy has a 710whp and 610wtq (on 93 oct) Evo with all off the shelf parts that drives just like stock. My 2 previous wrx couldnt even handle a couple of bolt ons. But my last 2 evos handled over 400 horsepower all day

  • Subarus suck balls at making power in the east or west coast of the US. My tuner by the way also tunes Subarus(He owns 1000whp Evo & 500whp STI) and odds are he tuned all of your buddies Subys too.lol. One of the best tuners alive. Dynoflash

  • Subarus suck balls at making power in the east or west coast.

you don't know a damn thing do you,HAHA.

get the fuck outta town with that bs your selling.

out here in cali we have both of the fastest stock turbo sti's in the US,so tell your tuner to stop using his gay ass dynojet and use a mustang dyno.

if your at 450whp and it's tuned by dynoflash you are really making like 360whp on a mustang dyno, lol

like i told your dumb ass a 4g63 tuner does not know how to tune and can't tune an ej257

  • I know your panties are all up in a bunch cause you don't have a 4G63 under your hood and I do. I never came on here to bad mouth STI's cause believe it or not, I actually like them and I love the car in this video. But when you bad mouth Evos and what its legendary 4G63 motor can do, its offensive. If the EJ25 has a production run half as long as the 4G63 I will be surprised. And for the rest of your comments...well they are pretty funny

  • O yea, and this is for sti302man

  • you are the most retarted fucker on this planet

  • fuck u fag. This evo vs Sti battle was done weeks ago. But u were prolly too busy sucking some cocks. Plus at the end of the day, who cares about all this car talk. THEY ARE JUST VEHICLES THAT GET US FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER

  • lol, i beg to differ, the cars are the point.

  • LOL. U got jokes. I would love to see how long a 560 whp stock block STI will last. They can't handle the power that Evos can, its a FACT. And with equal mods an Evo will dog an sti regaurdless. Evos have better built motors. The EJ25 will always live in the shadow of the 4G63.

  • lol

  • hahaha stupid sti, i have a gt35r on my evo and put down way more than 400, plus u can get 430hp on a stock evo turbo hahahaha

  • Bet his car at 400 has alot more tq than yours at 400. haha

  • 430hp on a stock evo motor? u can kiss your engine good bye. 4G63 internals cannot support that much pressure reliably for a long time.

  • haha c16! lucky duck u have 100oct down the road!

  • awesome power, STi FTW!!

  • At how many miles you tuned this car on the engine?

  • added turbo kit @ about 35,000 miles...

just recently added perrin headers and aquamist meth kit! put down 422(25psi) on pump and 455(27psi) on 100oct with 100% meth. same dyno! Pulls like a train!! no problems with stock internals!

  • beautiful!

  • Little bit of compressor surge there, that doesn't appear to effect overall output - My car does the same on a VF34.

  • Yeah, the video is taken while the car was being tuned so there is a lot of surge in the video, but once it was all finished they worked that out.

  • You try swapping the original compressor housing for a good anti surge one? i heard that some of the anti surge housings actually cause more problems than solve them just letting you know

  • why not c16? Didn't want to push stock internals?

  • i have a 100oct pump down the street!

  • SWEET!!! convinience ftw!

  • noob because c16 if road racing shit..

  • Waouw!!

  • Hail!!!!
