hello guys i was always a heavy metal fanatic i am 32 kno and i am in love with this kind of soun.I iheard it once in a club an then i found it;. Can you please help me find similar groops or familiar soun or anything that you like if you like this mkind of soud I am op[en to anything. keep it true guys thanks in advance,
@2112christosk i dont know if they were ever simular to others but i like bundle of hiss and mudhoney also a dead kennedys fang was also great but again wipers came out in a time when punk was still raw and they formed around it defining themselves as a completely different sound..if you like mudhoney also look for green river mark arm first band
Just remakable!!!!! This is what I would call art. This is also what I would call real music. I wish they actually play stuff on the radio. The crappy shit they normally play. It seems like you have to look to find good music.
I was trapped in the worst thunderstorm of my life last night. It was 3 am and I had to get back to my apartment and pack for my flight at 6 am. The rain and wind was so bad I couldn't read the street signs. I stopped in a hotel lobby. Took off my shirt and shoes. Put this album on my ipod and repeat. And began what became a 2 hour odyssey over fences and through parking garages home. My iPod no longer works. Totally worth it
I always find the melodies Greg sage comes up with very strange. The picture that comes to my mind is someone running through rail road tracks and stopping right before a train hits them. I would not compare the wipers to black flag, the minutemen, or any of those bands. They seem to possess a melodic beauty that is completely their own. It's like love you know.
@irkedd I like that... "personal revolution of human sincerity." Well said. I have my own quiet commitment to sincerity, as well. But I've never been able to articulate it to myself with a phrase as perfect and poetic as the one you've provided here.
@mfgodwin thanks much for the high praise, as far as a "personal revolution of human sincerity" is concerned I have tried to do just that on my own youtube podcasts by spilling my guts with as much sincerity as I can.
feel free to visit my channel and check them out as I am always looking for more viewers.

Not a bad song, but I prefer modern music like Rhianna and Pink. That stuff really moves me.

Parts of the song sounds a bit like the song "L.A. Woman" by the Doors. I don't know if anyone else noticed.

Soundtrack of our youth-long ago it was Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused",later this
awesome piece of music rammed in our ears and minds. Are there similar breath-
taking songs, which express so much and reflect the times we are living?

these guys were genuine new guys are just imitating an earlier style championed by true dudes like the wipers, black flag, etc.
something urgent about the original "punk rock" like this.
there is a lack of sincerity, originality, or urgency like there is here.
I am a wipers fan like many others here each one of us needs to start our own personal revolution of human sincerity.
great art is forever and should always be an expression of truth, the wipers did that no matter how unnoticed they were.
