Had the mountune upgrade and the Cat back exhaust system fitted too..the sound of which never ceases to put a broad smile on my face whenever I bury the right foot. The mechanic who fitted mine reckons the power output is more like 280bhp as opposed to the claimed 260.....Go on do it... you're ST deserves it !
BHP = RPM * Torque. The only way you'll ever increase your cars BHP is by increasing the torque your engine can produce ,the peak RPM of your engine will always remain constant.
60Lb-Ft increase is very significant and well worth £1,100.
I own a 2009 Ford Focus ST3 and am currently looking at the Mountune ST260 package and stainless steel catback exhaust. What upgrades have you put on your Focus? Just the Mountune 260?? It seems over priced for an extra 30bhp? It costs around £1100, What are you thoughts?
It isn't just the BHP increase, the torque jumps up 60lb ft as well, giving greater in gear flexibility, something the ST already has in spades. Mountune quote a 0-60 time of 5.8 and 0-100 in 14.1. That's plenty quick enough, I'm sure you'll agree. Also, the Mountune kit is Ford approved, and thus the 260 upgrade can be applied without voiding a Ford warranty, a big plus if you're the driver of a newer ST.
nice car and lovely colour too

Love the mountune 260 pack but the exhausts don't bring out that 5 cylinder enough. Sound like the standard pipe with a few more pops.
