  • lol that song is terrible!

  • Love the view!

  • @Letspreach

thank you for watching my video clip.

  • just started to plant, how long does it take for the seeds to germinate/sprout?

  • @ridemytube247 about a week. keep the soil moist.

  • @vincentyeo88 Thanks

  • Harvest now? Even there is just one that is mature? And the rest are just babies?

  • you have the choice not to harvest those little pods and see how the black spots develop.

  • One of my chili pods is completely red now...Should I pick it off now? The new ones coming in are looking kinda weird...I mean, they are green with little soft mushy black spots on them...What is happening & what should I do? Anyone who knows, please respond, Thank you!

  • i suggest you harvest all your chillie pods now.

those black spots are some kind of fungi but not poisonous. but you may want to dig out those spots before you eat the pods.

don't add too much water to the soil of your chillie plant.

  • Ok, Thanx for the insight. And to give you more info on my current planter...well, from seeing your video here, my planter is about 10 times the size of yours...is this big enough to keep my 'big jim' in permanently? I can't wait till i have enought peppers to make homade enchilada sauce. Thanx for your response.

  • you're most welcome. yes, your pot is big enough.

it's great to use your harvest and make your own sauce. happy cooking!

  • I have a Numex 'Big Jim' plant. It has one almost ready to pick chili (red from green). A whole lot of new pods are now coming in and I want to transfer into a big planter. Is this safe to do? Someone told me not to because I could disturb the roots and ruin the plant. Anyone, please respond, Thank you!

  • no, please don't do that but you may want to add some soil. add a little fertilizer after you harvest all your chillie fruit.

  • I got a load of seeds for growing jalapenos, did it really take 6 months to get to that stage? I was hoping they would be producing fruit in 3 months ish.

  • when you grow them in a greenhouse and there's plenty of sunshine, they take less than 6 months to bear fruit.

  • I was suprised at the size of the pot your plant was in.

  • im growing jalapenos for the first time, there about 2" high and doing well.

what do you feed them? i would like to use something natural if possible.

    .would tomato fertiliser be ok?

  • yes, that fruit fertilizer will do but place it away from the roots.

  • mannnnnnnnnnnnn... ur to high up for me.... nice plant.. too

  • thank you for watching my video clip.

  • What city is that? Very beautiful - same goes for the plant.

  • Singapore.
