You're referring to the old NSX, a 1997 model. The one with skinnier tyres, 16 inch rims, and a smaller 3.0 (possibly 3.2, '97 was the changeover year).

Nurgburgring laps times can be taken any which way though. For example:

2010 Camaro SS - 8:20

1990 Skyline R32 - 8:22

@cozzey05 the Nurburgring is a track that inherently favors higher powered cars. the track isn't particularly technical. difficult, yes. but not technical. the majority of the corners are high speed. only 2 corners are taken in 2nd gear in most cars. the 2010 Camaro would score laptimes significantly slower than an NSX (even a 3.0L 1991 NSX) on a technical track with shorter straights. before you flame my opinion, i've driven numerous cars on the Ring, totaling more than 150 laps.
