I suspect you have the wrong version of Battlefield 1942 instead, not the mods. Have you tried updating your BF1942 game?

@EggChops I have my BF1942 on 1.6 or whatever it is. But on the normal BF1942 I can only play on 1 server in multiplayer cos all others say wrong CD key.

Yes, 1942 is one of the greatest games I've ever played, and Desert Combat a great mod, too!

How many servers are still active? I use to play a El alamein Day 2 server which had force fields over the main base to stop camping and had hundreds of helicopters. Was amazing... I love manually aiming the weapons... All battlefields after have bene lame due to the poor quality missile engine

Well you just have to put your two questions together:

Desert Combat is a mod with helicopters in it :]

It's basically BF1942, but with modern day vehicles and aircraft, my favorite mod for BF1942 - I recommend you download it when you have the chance!

try new version 9.0 with red something its awsome there new staff L85a1 weapon and alot

Oh, I get what you're saying. When filming, there isn't actually a person, but we used what I think is called freecam, where you get to roam around wherever you want, through walls and stuff. If you want to activate it, host a server, open up the console by pressing ` and type "sv.allowfreecam 1".. I think that's the command. (something like that) Then, after you die, it allows you to roam around without any borders. Have fun!

Nope, the A-10 is very easy to fly! But I'm sorry, I've never tried with a joystick, so I can't answer that question.

No problem - I use a program called FRAPS to record in-game footage. Just go to fraps . com, and there you can download a trial version, but you can only record for 30 seconds at a time. If you download the registered version, which I used to record this, it costs like $35.00 or so, but you can record one scene for as long as you like

yeah i fully recommend fraps reg. though its not free, it works a lot better than most of the freeware screen recorders there are and if you are willing to put up some money for the full version, it will save you a lot of time looking for decent freeware recorders
