During the great depression many hard working americans were starving to death,losing homes and farms, because of the banks, and these guys said, the Hell with it,and started robbing banks,and if you start robbing banks ,sure police are going to try and stop it and the goverment,so a lot of police also died in the process.The gansters of this time went down as heros for fighting the system in there own way. and remember history always repeats itself.but of course we know the banks were justified

It really does tend to come across as a propaganda piece, suspiciously concocted by someone such as J.E.Hoover, for vested-interest & in-house FBI political purposes, at the time.
