I recommend a movie: The Fountain. It's about a man trying to cure cancer at the same time as his higher self travels up to the source in his tree of life vessel.
@vicx05 Thanks, I saw The Fountain and thought the visuals were great but I didn't care for the story...it tried too hard to portray a simple process.
@vicx05 To me the three versions of the character seemed like a lame attempt to create a sense of a mission so vast it took lifetimes to culminate. All in all I didn't find it worth examining closely, it was too full of angst, I get bored with such dramatics.
That's a stunning focus. An individual art inspiration. Cinematic composition and perfect pace. And I only saw it once so far! Just went up a few levels gal. That thar's awesome city. You've arrived. ;-)
