..so when 4:20 rolls around, and it's TIME for the lead guitar solo, Mark Farner doesn't do it? The lead guitarist, whoever he was sounded great. The camera should have been on that lead solo. Ha ha, I wonder if the person filming thought Mark was doing the lead..
I'm sure if I were taping this, I would of held the camera on Mark too. Doing that wah-wah is worth seeing but, your right...the guitar solo was great.
When Mark got the record deal with Frontline and recorded the 3 Christian rock albums, my personal fave was the Wake Up... CD. I read in Mark's book that he turned down a deal with Columbia due to the direction he was going in at the time.
Hey Bekki! I agree this is a great song (one of my favs) and a great performance!!!
The year was 1991...God Rockers! And, the rhythm guitar player is Arnie Vilches (I hope I spelled that right) and it's Mike Maple on drums, Howard Eddy JR on keys, oh yeah, and that Farner dude out in front..makes ya believe he is "Hooked on Love"
Speaking of "tight as GFR" check out Mark's N'rG (energy) band sometime..N'rGized by the real-deal of Funk!!!
Mark Farner is "hooked on Jesus!"

If you asked Mark, he would have said "You should have panned to the lead solo"
Exactly.

This is a great performance by Mark! Thank you for the video clip!
Could you tell me what year this was, and was the young man with the dark hair, Mark's son?
These guys were just about as "tight" as Grand Funk Railroad!
