I've also listened to the Timbaland cover of this song. IMO, you're better. As a producer, Jimmy, you did a better job of letting the instruments be heard. As a singer, you didn't need to have your voice distorted in its higher range. And Bastiaan once again showed not just his amazing skills but his stage presence. He's STILL making things tough for all us other talentless wannabes. ;) Yes, you had mixing problems, but you did good work anyway.

It is a terrible shame that the deck is so stacked against you. From what I understand, the record companies won't even look at you until you can draw a big crowd and you guys are so far apart you can't even book a gig. But you're talented and charismatic. You deserve a shot, IMHO.

Yes, people are really overusing the autotuner these days. I know in a few years all the music that people are using that for is going to sound so dated and no one will want to listen to it... It's so fake. It's kind of cool for now, but it gets pretty old pretty fast...

Help us understand why you like the other ones...

Is it the song choices or the pictures and more words etc that we put in?

Here are our thoughts: We don't want to use copyrighted photos anymore because Youtube is having a hard time legally with uploaders that are doing that, so we're trying to help there.

We want to put up more videos, but adding text (a story) and more 'video elements' just makes the process take that much longer and we don't have a lot of time to make these videos...

In my mind, the song choices are supreme in my enjoyment of your videos. Both Stairway and Hotel California would be on my top ten songs list.

Also, this one seems like less of a colaboration, because of the lack of guitar. The colaboration aspect of it, given the distance between you two, adds a serious amount of mystique to your work.

All in all though, fabulous job, and feel free to take my completely unprofessional opinion with as many grains of salt as you can find. =)
