ive got a problem: my crysis looks good....but only the palmes are annoying for me-it seems like my aa doesnt work and i cant change it-no console command , no option , (with some mods it works but the mods suck xD) so what i can do so my aa works really good?

There is something called "PS Smoother" Which actually makes an increase graphically and no change to the performance. I've been playing my PS3 for a couple of months and I have to admit that it looks like it has A LOT more potential then the 360, And yes before you ask, I do have a 360. Got one the day they were launched. And then again, GTA IV just sucks ass with graphics, It looks terrible on anything. My 9800GX2 cant run it smoothly on PC, Its a crap game, Crap Developers

Buy a ps3 instead of waste 3000 on a computer that has these good graphic when you can buy a ps3 for 400 dollar and get equal graphic as this. Take a look at 8 days theres no game on the pc that look better than that game.

Neither the PS3 or 360 could max Crysis and get a playable framerate at the same time. Farcry 2 is scaled down on the consoles for that reason.

I got a 8800gts 512 card

and im gettiing brutaly low unplayable gfx even on maintream settings...

i got 2gigs of ddr2 ram,

and i will upgrade my cpu if it will make a huge diff my cpu is

its got 2 cores even tho the name doesnt suggest it

runs like crap plz save me, im on the brink of giving up pc gaming because i just cant catch up

When the sun is shining it looks crappy. It looks blury fast forward the video and you will see by your self. And I will never waste my money and a good pc like this that cost 3000 dollar because theres no good game coming to the pc plus the control is bad and everything just uncomfortable.

erm, there's crysis....

and actually the mouse is a much more accurate pointer than any controller. And consoles don't hae very good graphics in comparison. And when they lag, there's nothing you can do about it except look away from the intense, demanding graphics or endure it. Sorry btw that I'm digging up a 3 week old argument xD

but pc's are only good with so many genre's (control wise). i cant see myself playing side scrolling games on pc, or fighting games. in all honesty, the only thing pc really has over consoles is better graphics, but the thing is consoles don't look that bad in the first place. the cry engine 3 doesn't look half bad on consoles, and graphics aren't everything. when a PC lags, you have to buy a new video card, which probably wont be within alot of people's budgets.

Ye, lol that pc probably didn't cost $3000. Probably at most $700 - $900. Its an 8800GT. Not quite as expenisve as a GTX295.

and also, with a xbox360 or ps3 you cant create stuff like custom maps, models, mods..you cant script, your customisation options are minimal. you cant mod your hardware, except of chipmodding, which destroys your warranty, and finally, the stuff you play fully depends on what you are being forced to play by huge publishers (like ea..) which release their stuff for consoles..can you play tetris on your consoles within 2 minutes while connected to the internet? :)

Hell no! You shouldn't have a problem with anything but the AA. You will be stuck with 2AA, otherwise you will get unplayable framerates.
