We played this song in my all county band!! I was the 2nd chair Trombone and this one of the most fun, exciting Wind Ensemble pieces I've ever played!!(I'm more of a jazz person, and I still loved this song!!)

The percussion section from 3:16 forward is amazing. Clarinet part on this so much fun, our symphonic band swept CMEA with this, Undertow, and Amazing grace last year. Go CHS.

I have fond memories of this song. I played the huge trombone solo towards the end of the song at a band competition in high school. The feeling I got when everyone else just cut out and it was just me belting the solo was indescribable.

I played this piece earlier this month. It's my most favorite piece this year. I love the oboe solo and percussive parts and not to mention section N with the 1st trombone part soli. I play the trombone and I blast that part really loud. I absolutely love it! Thanks for posting this.
