This is excellent footage. I remember an issue of National Gegraphic back in the 70's featuring the wreckage under Truk Lagoon. I promised myself I would visit somedy and will next summer. I am glad Japan and the USA are now allies, especially with rougue nations like North Korea present.

"There are many Japanese battleship and warplane wrecks in underwater at truk lagoon" um yeahhhh.... ya dont have ta be american, its also japanese wrecks.
Hiroshima's pop has been estimated at 350K; approx 70K immediately from the explosion and another 70K died from radiation within 5 years.
40% of Nagasaki was destroyed. With a population of 270K, approx 70K people died.
Pearl Harbor attack sank 4 U.S. Navy battleships and damaged 4 more. The Japanese also sank or damaged 3 cruisers, 3 destroyers, and 1 minelayer, destroyed 188 aircraft, and caused personnel losses of 2,402 killed and 1,282 wounded. Millions?
It matters in the context in which Archareous made his statement. Of course they were people. But 200,000 is not 1,000,000. Of course the bomb was a terrible thing, nobody is denying that. But let's not take things here out of proportion.
No. That era has pretty much died out. Though things are pretty much the same as far as crime goes, the whole atmosphere has changed. The Miami Vice days are long gone. We now face the epidemic of the swine flu not forgetting a huge economic situation in the US which effects us as well.
Definitely a bit too overwhelming place if I dive just for fun.

Mightyman, it was war. People don't call countries and go "We're gonna be attacking you tommorrow. So be ready k?"
And you realize the U.S Bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki killing millions of Japanese without giving them a warning?
It works both ways kid
Archareous 2 years ago 5
hahahaha amazing comment.
closedcoil 2 years ago
Archareous, according to Wikipedia, a little over 200,000 people died in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
200,000 is nowhere close to a million. Work on your math skills, dude.
