  • fuck i love this adaption.. so awesome!!! sounds wicked.. wish i was there

  • look, that was pretty sweet. for what you were trying to do, that's a pretty faithful adaptation of the song without losing the original integrity of the music. until i realized this was a church show (and before he had a solo) i couldn't understand why the rhythm guitarist was centre stage! was this a few bpm slower than the original? and how much rehearsal time did it take to get this so tight? nice work!

  • this was great!

  • Gorgeous silverburst Les Paul! 1983?

  • considering where and why it was performed, i'd say it's a bit ironic. no?

  • not at all. God is the giver of all artistic gifts, whether the artist ackowledges it or not :) If we limited ourselves exclusively to art that was created by committed Christ-followers, then someone would have to create a master list of accepted artists and those who were blacklisted that all churches would follow. This sounds suspiciously like legalism (a.k.a. Phariseeism).

  • @jermtech No, though.

  • Did you know that Jeff Tweedy (the writer of this song) is an Atheist?

  • how does that have any relevance?

  • Outstanding! I've been working on the solo for sometime now. Just posted it.
