After 16 years of east coast shows, I was all prepared for the mellow groovy west coast Dead vibes, when I was informed by a guy up front who claimed to be a friend of the band, that I had to leave because, despite the fact that it was a general admission show with lots of room, someone else owned that space because they got there first and I had no clue what it was all about. He even made a girl cry.

Who cares if Brent's family and kids get any royalties from his estate. Believe me, I'm no fan of the recording industry and I've loved the Dead for 25 years, but get real, people!
