@Didigeneral I've listened to Jennifer Rush's version. To be honest, JR isn't even in the same universe as Celine. Celine's interpretation of the lyrics is spot on and it suits her vocal prowess perfectly. JR doesn't even come close to doing this piece justice. But alas, we are entitled to our own musical taste and no one is right or wrong when they say, "this is better", because afterall it's a matter of personal preference. Is blue better than red? Depends on your opinion.

celine dion is the greatest singer, period. there have been a few others who had amazing voices, but none have been as consistent over the years.

it's funny that i read people think she lip-synced. she doesn't have to. look at any of her live performances, she always sings live. her voice is truly amazing, as close to perfect as you'll get IMO.
