@fableBAJS It's the finale from the 1812 Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, an 1880 composition commemorating the Russian victory at the Battle of Borodino in 1812. The full piece is at ?v=VbxgYlcNxE8
I love how he delivers his idea subconciously to the people through the music, for if you give someone, even for a second, something that they lost so long ago they had forgotten about it...
They will feel so free...
So alive and able to do what they want
They will go to all ends to break the opression that made them forget about such delights in the first place...
In the end the goverment in this film was screwed the moment the first notes played...
"so a masked vigilante kills two cops in the middle of the night in front of you. You follow him up into an unknown building. Then he starts 'hearing' music that isn't playing, and you're still there? What's the matter with you!" hahahahah
@TheCrusader1109 why are you calling me an idiot exactly if you look up your facts the British wanted to remain a world power which is why we had the Revolutionary War and if your British and liked for your information the comment was a joke anyway
I love the maniacal laugh all these people have (V, The Joker, Tyler Durden, etc.) while they're doing sinister acts of rebellion. it's so amazing to me. inspiring.
@sorakey44 No...there about staging protests during peak hours, in order to stop everyones commute dead cold. Seriously what is wrong with those people, what a bunch of assholes.

The argument "Freedom Fighter " or "Terrorist" is a simply complex one. It all depends on your views and ideals, and theirs. Clearly supporters of said individual will not say that they're terrorists but rather Freedom Fighters, or idealists. While those against will say just the opposite. In closure, one man cannot be labeled so by everyone, each will view said person in their own way.
Going into the theater I had low expectations, All my friends told me how good it was but I wasn't impressed by the trailer... So 10 minutes into the movie this happened and I was proven wrong, and Im very glad I was. This movie kicked ass!
could V be interpreted as a terrorist? possibly, but on that note that age old phrase is one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. one thing i will note however was that he never targeted civilians or killed civilians on purpose. instead of killing people, he preferred to kill ideas.

@GreatWhiteBrow *Comment continued*. High Chancellor Adam Sutler was the man who green lighted the experiments. Creedy and the rest just wanted to stop V and his crusade. The creators of the film kind of lost the point of what Guy Fawkes and the rest of the group were trying to achieve They made out that Catesby's gang wanted a free country without politics or a monarchy. King James I was in power at the time. A Protestant king ruling over Britain. Not like by Catholics.
@GreatWhiteBrow So Robert Catesby formed a group, which included Guido 'Guy' Fawkes and conspired to blow up the Houses of Parliament, which at the time of the foiled attack, housed King James I. Fawkes was the man chosen to light the fuse but before he got a chance, the authorities found him and arrested him for him to be subjected to torture and death on grounds of treason against the crown. I can't remember what happened to the other conspirators but it can't be good, whatever it was.
@GreatWhiteBrow The graphic novel told the story of an anarchist in a somewhat dystopian city led by a ruthless dictator whereas the film told of a freedom fighter living in the same world. I've onnly got half way through the book so I don't yet know the ending or outcome. Knowing books to films, it's bound to be slightly different from the film. @phelan511 V never killed ideas, he simply killed what had striven to impede their conception and growth.

Or sow ideas to those who let someone else think and act for them.
