Fascinating stuff. There are people alive today who will probably live for centuries, or even longer. It's surely only a few decades before we can halt the aging process altogether.
In 1998 telomeres extended human cell ifespan. This made it possible to make any human cell type to be immortal (grow well). Second one is this one 2010, where they show a similar by totally different way of reversing cell aging. I am in physics myself , no expert but the science behind it is solid to me. This means patient for stem cell transplant can get young cells and you can scale up these transplant cells in factory (something you cant do well right now). It has real value.
@MsSuperNovo .....its just another way without having to use stem cells. One of my bio professors was a Harvard prof. and I've been hearing about such processes for 20 years, including but not limiting to controlling apoptosis, etc. I'm not saying that the science isn't on solid ground, I'm just a bit skeptical until we see enough proof/comments peer reviews from other leading scientists.

Nice R&D, but true reversal of aging humans still remains at least a century away. This is very early-stage research hyped-up by the news media.

Great work Dr. West.
Please do another interview with Life Extension Magazine. Your interview with them about 5 years ago was AMAZING.

Interesting, but I'm still skeptical for now....I've been hearing about such concepts since the late 1980's....
