this must have been hard to plan. did you write up an entire script? I dont think you changed from german to american over and over, that would have taken forever. lol

It actually was pretty much made up on the spot. That was back when my uniforms were just a simple brown shirt for the Americans and overcoat for the Germans, so when I switch I just throw the overcoat over the uniform. haha it was fun though

what type of special effects do u use

I use FXHome for my gunshots and explosions, but in this, I don't think I used it at all. The coloring was done on Ulead VideoStudio 8, and the smoke effects when people get shot were done simply by baby powder bottles.

I haven't gotten anything from a surplus store before, but today is actually the first day I plan to go to one. I do own the outfits and all the weapons, I get them from thrift shops mostly. I get the sounds from Medal of Honor, Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and Deadly Dozen. Every song is from Medal of Honor. very good considering you made it all by yourself. A little confusing because of that, but good still. I liked how you had sort of a cliffhanger ending. How can you stand to jump in the water and get everything wet like that? Man i also love your setting, i wish i had some woods like that to work with. If i lived near i would so help you out.

Honestly and sincerely this was the best war video you have made! even though it was just you it had a great storyline. Not to mention that where you filmed and the sunlight and lighting was excellent! Also what did you use for fx like the smoke from the gun shot? That was awsome keep up the good work! the only advice i have is to substaintly add another elemnet to your movie is find somewhere a german helmet. Than yu can really distinguish the differences! A+

Thank you very much. Im going to a WWII reenactment next weekend, which is where I've been planning to find German helmets and guns. And for the smoke I used baby powder. And this was the first movie of mine where I worked painstakingly on the lighting. Every shot has it's own setting. Thanks again.
