As an Christian, I am greatful to Hindu India, because of their dietary restrictions, they have found things to do with a simple bowl of lentils or a few potatoes that we can rarely accomplish in the West. This makes Lent and Advent a more joyful time as well as one of prayer, and saves on the cost of meat to further good purposes. Anyway, Indians do have it good in the veg only department. I have learned to make curries, naan, Chapati and other great Indian fair. My Thanks to South Asia!

OMG I have actually been to natraj hotel before 12 years when i was in 6th grade with my whole family on a rajsthan trip! Thali is actully a gujarati thali and if anyone can read gujarati it is ritten on sandwitch sign board outside the hotel in gujarati! Well as for the jobs let us not forget that only 100 years ago the US was taking manufacturing jobs nobody in Europe wanted. Also cost of living in India is lesser than the Europe or the US. I do however agree that Indian growth has largely been in spite of the government not due to it. But the growth is decentralized and that makes it easier to sustain.

i think you are getting confused... the indian government has been one of the most stable in the world... yes our response to the crisis in Mumbai could have been better, but the indian system works far better than China say for instance.
