@TheHiSkiller Look, D-1 is often used to describe the Airborne landings for D-Day. However, American and British Paratroopers and Glider troops landed in Normandy on the 6th of June, be it only just in some cases. The first troops who landed in Normandy were Free French SAS soldiers on June 5.

The mission to destroy the Howizers was only given after they had dropped in, not a pre planned operation for the Company. This occured on D-Day to support Utah landings which were already underway.
