  • @fabianoD30 looks like a clean car! props! my tial 50mm craped out my turbo in my sti from surge, all cars i seen with um got surge like yours in low boost, when i get a new turbo, i'm getting a different bov

  • @zunilucero the problem is that there are to less springs to buy, I cheated with some shims... light surge at thorttle lifts in low boost is not a turbo killer... the killer is surging while you are on light thorttle, and high boots surge... but I am with you, I wouldn`t by it again... now while surge just because the springs...

  • Does your SR20 respond well to stupid American gas? I know in JDM land they have really high octane gas.

    My JDM STi swap takes over 100 RON and I don't know if SR20s were the same.

    Unless you got it tuned.

  • ok hopfully someonecan answer me this. is that chirp the tires... wastgate or bov. i heard tails make that sound and i want that if possible on my KA-T so just wondering what i need to get it. no one can give me a straight answer. thanks =)

    and yeah she does pull. but of course it does. srs on 20psi.. shoot any motor on 20 would lay 350+ to the ground.

  • the 2871 is a greate turbo for the sr20det... I will try the 0.86A/R next year to see whats better ;-)

  • oh yeah i knew that lol, but the t28 has a bigger compressor than the t25 so its able to push past 14psi where the t25 is maxed out at.

  • no the s14 sr DOES have a ball bearing turbo, and it is spec'd the same as the s15. the only difference is in the turbine wheels of the two. the s15 has inconel turbine wheel and cast divider wall between turbine discharge and wastegate. but from what i understand(but it may be wrong) the s14s in australia didnt come with BB turbos. not sure tho

  • Just so you know 200sx s14s had t28 ball bearing turbos so 20 psi is possible.

  • nope the s14 does not have a ball bearing turbo, just the s15 got the ball bearing

  • @iLLusiveX Really because only the s15 kouki edition came with a ball bearing turbo the s13 and s14 both have journal bearing turbos as well as the majority of s15's unless you got lucky.

  • lol Yeah. The T25 would be WAY past it's volumetric efficiency at 20psi. I run mine at ~14psi on my SE-R...pretty much dead on what it should be.

  • yeah true 14 psi is about right most people where i live run there sr's on 12 pounds on the t25 to bad your car is fwd :(

  • Ah, very nice. Yeah, I enjoy the SE-R very much. People don't expect it to be anything, as it looks very stock. The intercooler even sits behind the stock bumper, with the stock fog lights in place.

  • Yeah, I have non-stock wheels...but they're just the wheels from the like '96+Sentra/200SX SE-R. They're bronze too (actually a factory color for those wheels) and it pops nice on the black car.

    But yeah, I love the SRT4, but those guys do think that they're the fastest thing ever, and it's funny when I beat them. Sadly I'm battling a boost leak right now. :-( Cracked coupler. But, the new one is on it's way.

  • sounds cool srt4 has a sick sounding engine and ur right they think they r the shit lol boost leak sux i had that problem a couple months ago but it was because of a recirculation valve problem all i had to do was adjust it.
