this game was awesome. The sight of barge full of Fiends floating toward your base was nothing short of nightmarish. there was nothing like the fiend, tough and powerful like hell but cheap as piss. Their only weakness was they have very short range. I used to us the fiend cheat once in a while :); I reckon it's not a cheat though since it was part of the game, but many considered it cheating.

I can't tell what you mean by "generic." It's just that this game isn't conventional like Starcraft or EverQuest, or other strategy games around year 2000. I have to admit, it is salted by being repetitive and low-res, but any game with the player in charge gives a respected stand.
