LOVE this song! Thanks for posting it! Haven't heard it since the 80's and I still remember all the lyrics! Tells you how many times I have listened to it!
@josg913 I hear you loud and clear. I was surprised and a bit frightened when I found myself reciting the song word for word when I first heard it again after 20+ years. A testament to how amazing this band once was.
saw these guys a few times. the band was great live! fresh and sooo much energy. pissed to see this cd and "know your enemy" on shelves for around $30!....I guess I will wait another 5 years to get them at a price that I won't be ashamed to pay...thnx for posting this awesome song.
My best friend's sister when I was in Junior High went out with one of the guitar players for Laaz, and she used to take us to hang out at band practice when City's Gonna Burn had just come out!! Cool guys, the drummer Vic was amazing, Ozzy tried to get him to join but he wanted to stay with Laaz Rockit!! That's some loyalty!! Glad to see people are still finding them.
I ssooo wish i was born in a time that i would listen to thrash when it was popular, so like the 80's, but im only 14 :( . i discovered this song actually today and the way the guitar and vocals are, you can just feel the emotion its beautiful.
@dakotamanomgwtf Yeah, it was a good thing. I actually wrote a paper in my college creative writing class entitled "Let There Be Thrash" that earned an "A". Good fuckin times...
After 20 years of discovering thrash, I discover this and the album it comes from, Annihilation Principle. The Omen is perfection, and I can't stop playing it. The guitar work, vocals, emotion, melody, and it was an easy song to get in to after one listen which doesn't mean anything, but it's still a great feeling.
I remember the sensation of solitude and this music filled a very dark side, where only music could feed my thoughts of beauty. I love it... I was like 13 damn...
Very nice. Im not big on thrash but this upon first listen is very interesting. Lots of depth to it and very sweet ballady type material. Very much enjoying this tune. Tone in the guitar is groovy. <3
Not sure if it was my junkmonk account, i dunno... Anyways thanks for putting it up dude! I finally managed to find a copy, i just ordered it on vinyl and CD!!!
You should check out Mortal Sin, they're awesome too!!!
@prodigalson56 you know your thrash dude! i have listened to mayhemic destruction and face of despair and i was very impressed. i better listen to their other discography too.
@prodigalson56 trust me i have listened to municipal waste before. they are one of my fav revival thrash bands! my fav album from them is the art of partying. i've never heard of adrenline OD but what the hell? i'm a thrasher so they must be good.
