Do any of you guys know if this is compatible with the JG M4A1 GBB? Do I have to do any modifications to it or is it just a drop in mag? The JG M4 GBB is a WA clone, so it should work without any problems right?
@DeAthZReApEr760 The JG is plastic like the original WA M4 series so I would say no its not "compatible" as the recoil would probably destroy the gun sooner than a regular green gas mag would. This is just my opinion, you can always try it but at your own risk of course.
@DeAthZReApEr760 I beg to differ on that as I had a JG with a 150% buffer spring and it shot the whole buffer tube out of the back of it and stripped the plastic threads that the buffer screwed into. Also if you noticed, I said it was upgraded by Ra-Tech which is a great company, that 150% buffer spring fits and works great in my AGM along with GHK Mags, but my AGM is a back up to my Inokatsu right now. I have yet to have an issue with my AGM after 2 years of use with no other upgrades.
@DeAthZReApEr760 I fully expect something to fail on it sooner or later but right now, no issues have occurred because Ra-Tech replaced all of the shoddy parts like the receiver, bolt catch, bolt, etc, with upgraded Ra-Tech parts. Sure, I paid $250 for it but it works as good as any WOC does in my opinion for less than a WOC. My Inokatsu is a completely different story tho.
@bolingersa : Yea, sooner or later, every airsoft guns no matter what kind it is, will eventually break down. I just got my brand new ICS M4 and the piston already broke. I am currently waiting for my new one that I ordered to arrive. I still think AEGs are much better than GBBs. No offense. I love GBBs but its just not for me as I have always been used to AEGs. I thought moving to GBB would be cool but you have to do a lot more in order to maintain it.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Daytona guns will work for you prolly, they bridge the gap from AEGs to GBBRs. They use external gas systems like a paintball gun, and a GBB system inside the gun, along with an AEG magazine. It's kinda cool, you should look them up if you want to try something new.
@DeAthZReApEr760 You can get used ones for $300-$400, for the price and performance I can't see why I wouldn't pay that. I'm actually gearing up to get an M60 with a Daytona setup on it.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Used doesn't always mean something bad, I've personally bought around 10 used guns with varying "used" conditions. All of which I still have and they all still work like new, some of which I paid less than 1/4 of a new gun. You just have to know what to buy, from whom to buy, and how much the item is worth. All three of those things will help you find a great gun for a great price.
@bolingersa : Thanks for the help! Ive actually only bought one used gun and the rest brand new. If I have to spend my money, I want to use it for something new otherwise Im not getting wat Im paying for.
@DeAthZReApEr760 That depend on how you look at it, I just bought a JG Ika Zuchi m4, that retails for $170 or something like that on Evike.com I paid $60 shipped to my house, the only thing wrong with it was the guy had locked the gearbox up so I put a fresh 11.1v lipo in it and fixed it within seconds. The advantage to buying guns like this is that JG and even E1 guns are shooting over 400FPS now which isn't legal at most fields so you can down grade it and have a better gun than a new one IMO.
@bolingersa : Yea, I guess you can do that. I bought myself an ICS M4 and its much easier to take it down and can easily change the spring in 5 mins with the split gearbox design or have an extra spare with upgraded parts and just change the upper gearbox. I'm currently running a lipo battery and its great!
@DeAthZReApEr760 I run Lipos on very few guns, only highly upgraded guns meant for being abused in full auto after being reinforced. I do however use a Lipo in my TAR and it's stock, no issues yet after a years worth of using it, although I am much more careful with it than I am with the upgraded guns. ICS are great guns with a great idea behind them but I do know for a fact that they are faulty like systemas because if you get dirt in the lower while swapping parts your gearbox is shot.
@bolingersa : Yea. I have a question, do you think upgrading the internals with: Double O-Rings Aluminum Piston Head, Stainless Steel Ball Bearing Spring Guide, Aluminum O-Ring Nozzle, will make my gun last longer especially with Lipo or do I need to upgrade the gears also? ICS makes pretty good durable quality so I don' think it will break any sooner. I need you help. Thanks. Or what would you suggest on upgrades? I already bought me an ICS Turbo 3000 Motor. I haven't installed it yet.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Double o-ring piston head? do you mean a double o-ring cylinder head? If that's what you're talking about then yes buy one because it will make your gun more consistent with you FPS, however it will not prolong the life of your gun. I would upgrade your gears to a better quality ones if that, prometheus makes very solid gears. Also yes a ball bearing spring guide is good along with a aluminum piston head, and metal bushings.
@bolingersa : Oooops yes I meant Cylinder head. So the nozzle is not important. I don't know if a Prometheus gears will work in my ICS bcuz the Anti-Reversal latch is different than any other AEGs. What do you suggest right now? Without the gears yet? Should I go for Ball Bearing Spring Guide, Aluminum Piston Head, Double O-Ring Cylinder Head and Aluminum Nozzle?
@DeAthZReApEr760 I've never had an issue with a Guarder bore up nozzle on my guns but if you want an aluminum one then you can buy one for extra assurance. I guess BB quality comes in to play at that time tho because I never upgraded mine until mine broke from a BB being deformed and not loading into the hopup. I say thats a good start, do some research on ICS to see but I'm 90% sure its a TM compatible gearbox, the anti reverse latch isn't that much different than an Ares really.
@bolingersa : I guess I can do that. The bushings are already metal. My ICS M4 is 99% Compatible with Tokyo Marui parts. So your saying I can get the Prometheus or any other gearsets out there and install it no problem? I'm looking to purchase these parts off from a U.S Retailer and its very cheap as in the price. Its a good brand too, I believe its SHS, same who made the Super Shooter Piston.
@bolingersa : I guess I can do that. The bushings are already metal. My ICS M4 is 99% Compatible with Tokyo Marui parts. @DeAthZReApEr760 I've not used SHS parts but I have seen their price, not that price makes the parts better but usually when your paying $30 for a gearset it won't be as effective in the long run as a $50-$90 gearset. If you really wanted me to I could walk over to my friends and take his ICS apart to see if it will use TM gears which I'm still fairly certain it will. I'm going to say this, don't go cheap on the parts, the cheaper they are the chance of them breaking is higher.
@bolingersa : I guess I can give it a try first, I mean who knows, maybe it will work for a long time and I'm not concerned about it breaking as I can always upgrade to a much higher quality. Right now, I just want to take things slow as I'm still trying to buy other things. It's okay, not everything is cheap as in breaking. There are parts that will stay good as long as its taken care of. For the ICS, I just contacted the company and they said yes its compatible with TM.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Ok, as I said i was fairly certain it was TM compatible. I'm still serious about the parts tho, just be careful and if the parts look bad send them back, don't take any chances with bad parts.
@bolingersa : Okay cool. Yea most likely I will send them back. I might also refrain from using Lipo batteries as I don't want it to break any sooner.
@DeAthZReApEr760 7.4v Lipos are safe if you ask me as long as they are under 20C, they are pretty much the equivalent to a 9.6v Nimh or Nicad. I personally am in the process of making a complete "Element" gearbox to test the quality of the parts, I'm doing a high speed Lipo setup so I guess we will both find out what is bad and what is good then, lol.
@bolingersa : I decided not to buy those parts as I have changed my mind and bought me a Silencer and Burst Mosfet instead for now until I get enough money. I at first was going to go for a Tokyo Marui M4 but changed my mind and was just going to be money down the drain as any other guns could out last a TM. Let me know how it turns out for your "Element" gearbox and make a vid of it.
@DeAthZReApEr760 You don't know much about TM then if you think any other gun will out last them. I have a friend that has a stock TM AK, its 9 years old and the gun hasn't been messed with at all, nothing new on it, literally nothing. I guarantee you that a stock JG, E1, G&P, AGM, Dboys, A&K, and SRC will break long before a TM, I've not used many other companies for a long enough period to test them against a TM but TM was the INVENTORS of the AEG system, they know how to make an AEG.
@bolingersa : I completely disagree with you on this. I know TM is the best out there but I've actually had one for quite some time and its still working great. I just haven't put it through testing on Lipo which I don't plan to do any sooner. I know TM is the inventors of AEG Systems but there are actually companies out there that can make them as good as a TM. I don't really plan to use a $500 gun just for airsofting. That is why I'd rather go with something that will actually work.
@DeAthZReApEr760 First thing, TM was and never has been made to be used with a lipo although I'm 100% positive that with an AB mosfet that it will handle an 11.1v 20C lipo with no sweat. Second thing, I've used or worked on just about 1 M4a1 from each company, the stock M4s with LE stocks and stock M4a1 grips. I've not met one yet that can match a Marui in accuracy, durability, and quality. Not even my favorite company, Ares, can stand against a TM in terms of durability.
@DeAthZReApEr760 If you're basing this all on FPS then you know nothing about airsoft as a whole, if you're basing it on accuracy then I can promise you that a stock TM will out shoot many other stock companies as TM is still he standard for AEGs and GBBs. I personally own a TM Mk23 and it can out shoot any KWA, WA, KSC, WE, KWC, etc. Its just that good, and if TM was cheaper I'd carry only TM weapons probably because I've not been disappointed with them yet.
@bolingersa : I am not actually basing it on any FPS and or Accuracy. I'm talking about the internals. I would buy a Tokyo Marui right now but its better if I wait until they make a new new one. Plus its too expensive for me and don't feel like wasting that much money when I can put more things to my current gun and have it perform good on the long run. I do own a TM but its kinda old as i bought one 4 years ago. I wish I could of gotten the Blowback but Im fine with my current one.
@DeAthZReApEr760 They have made new ones, where have you been? They have even released a metal M4, the reece, they are also releasing a SCAR and even more AEGs within a few months, TM is practically taking TM based internals and using PTW ideas now with specialized mags, bolt catches, realistic firing modes and more. Systema will probably run out of business because TM is better for airsofters as a whole.
@bolingersa : No way!? Damn where have I been? I guess I've been really busy with work and school, haven't really gone out and researched about TMs. Is it possible to install a Modify Tremors Recoil Action Kit on my ICS M4?
@DeAthZReApEr760 I would say probably no, the new TMs have added recoil on them btw. The ICS M4 isn't what I'd call a normal M4 just like the Ares M4 isn't a normal M4. I'd have to get one, which I am...., and then try installing it on my friends ICS and see what happens. I still however think the ICS will have issues with the whole upper assembly being proprietary like it is. I'm not saying that I'm right, I've got no clue but those are my thoughts as of right now until I can confirm it.
@bolingersa : I knew I should of thought about it before I bought the ICS. The only reason why I chose the ICS over the G&G or Tokyo Marui was because of the split version design for the gearbox since its much easier for me to change or swap out the spring . Or at least I could of gone for G&G with blowback and installed the Tremors Recoil Kit as it will be the closest I will get with TM. If you do try and install it on your friends, let me know how it turns out and will definitely buy one.
@DeAthZReApEr760 It will probably be a few months, I'm working on getting my Inokatsu outfitted with real steel parts and a real ACOG costs about $800 but I want the real thing not a replica so I have to pay for the difference. I did however finish that Element gearbox build, although I opted for a TM High Cycle internal kit and left the rest to element, motor, bearings, gearbox, and airseal nozzle. The gun fires like a charm with an 11.1 lipo and it sounds snappy, lol.
@bolingersa : I would want to try out the Tremors Kit but then if it doesn't work, my money will go down the drain and be a waste since I don't have any other M4s. ACOGs cost a lot. Mine fires great too lol. What mah are you running on your gun?
@DeAthZReApEr760 The 11.1v Lipo I have on my custom made gearbox inside my custom gun is a 1300 mah, I've never personally had the need for anything above a 1600 mah as I've run a 1600 mah in my TAR-21 for 2 months straight with no charging at all. Then again I don't spray and pray and all that other stuff. If you do spray and pray then you are going to need a higher mah but Lipos are more electrical friendly and last longer than Nimhs or Nicads. I will get the Tremor kit "soonish"
@bolingersa : My Lipo battery runs out quick because of me firing a lot in auto. Now that I just received my 3 burst mosfet, most likely it will perform much better. I can't wait to test it out. I've contacted other airsoft retailers about the Tremors Kit but they don't know either. Some said no, it will not fit. It's only up to you now to confirm if it will work. I hope that "soonish" means very soon, lol. Not trying to rush you, just would like to know as I am losing my cool.. Tremors Recoil!!
@DeAthZReApEr760 It's going to be at least a month, maybe longer. I can push it towards the top of my list but right now I have some OPs to plan for so I need to get kits ready for them before its too late, I did that last year and it was a crap shoot to get everything at the last minute. If I have enough left over from my next paycheck I will try to put an order in to Evike and swipe one just to test it and maybe put it in my custom M4 or something. I can't promise anything yet tho.
@bolingersa : Okay, yea waiting till the last minute is a pain in the ass because sometimes things run out and you have to wait for it to restock. I just installed my Burst Chip, omg its so crazy dude! I can have it shoot between 1-7 bursts. Isn't that amazing? lol. Since its running on Lipo, its still a bit hard to maintain the bullets bcuz it runs out so quick.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Ya I know about those mosfets, I installed one on my friends G&P for him. I'm not a big fan of them tho as it uses a screw which seems like it could be a bad if it rains or gets water in the front hand guard (that's where we put his.) The idea is a great one, I just don't feel like frying my wiring, lol. I've got $40 left over from this paycheck, I'll try to save it and combine it with my extras from my next paycheck to get it, if I have enough, ok?
@bolingersa : Yea the Burst Mosfet Chip is awesome! I have mine heat shrinked so most likely it won't get wet and its mostly sunny over here in Cali. Mine is also located in my hand guard, I might do a video of it soon when I get my camera up and running. Yea, that sounds great! I just can't wait for the Tremors kit, I know it might have a 75% chance and who knows, you might be the first to add the Tremors Kit on a M4 thats not a M4 like u said. lol. All I can do now is wait for you to do it.
@DeAthZReApEr760 Ok, I'll try my best, no promises still. I think I have an idea of how I could install it but I've got a few probs with the stock I think, mainly the buffer tube, but we will see soon enough I guess.
Has there been any indication as to a possible release date for these and does anyone have any ideas as to a cost (more or less expensive than the greengas GHK M4 mags?
GHK sounds so much more vicious!

Its just that good, and if TM was cheaper I'd carry only TM weapons probably because I've not been disappointed with them yet.
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : I am not actually basing it on any FPS and or Accuracy. I'm talking about the internals. I would buy a Tokyo Marui right now but its better if I wait until they make a new new one. Plus its too expensive for me and don't feel like wasting that much money when I can put more things to my current gun and have it perform good on the long run. I do own a TM but its kinda old as i bought one 4 years ago. I wish I could of gotten the Blowback but Im fine with my current one.
DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago

DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago
@DeAthZReApEr760 I would say probably no, the new TMs have added recoil on them btw. The ICS M4 isn't what I'd call a normal M4 just like the Ares M4 isn't a normal M4. I'd have to get one, which I am...., and then try installing it on my friends ICS and see what happens. I still however think the ICS will have issues with the whole upper assembly being proprietary like it is. I'm not saying that I'm right, I've got no clue but those are my thoughts as of right now until I can confirm it.
bolingersa 1 year ago

The gun fires like a charm with an 11.1 lipo and it sounds snappy, lol.
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : I would want to try out the Tremors Kit but then if it doesn't work, my money will go down the drain and be a waste since I don't have any other M4s. ACOGs cost a lot. Mine fires great too lol. What mah are you running on your gun?
DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago
@DeAthZReApEr760 The 11.1v Lipo I have on my custom made gearbox inside my custom gun is a 1300 mah, I've never personally had the need for anything above a 1600 mah as I've run a 1600 mah in my TAR-21 for 2 months straight with no charging at all. Then again I don't spray and pray and all that other stuff. If you do spray and pray then you are going to need a higher mah but Lipos are more electrical friendly and last longer than Nimhs or Nicads. I will get the Tremor kit "soonish"
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : My Lipo battery runs out quick because of me firing a lot in auto. Now that I just received my 3 burst mosfet, most likely it will perform much better. I can't wait to test it out. I've contacted other airsoft retailers about the Tremors Kit but they don't know either. Some said no, it will not fit. It's only up to you now to confirm if it will work. I hope that "soonish" means very soon, lol. Not trying to rush you, just would like to know as I am losing my cool.. Tremors Recoil!!
DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago
@DeAthZReApEr760 It's going to be at least a month, maybe longer. I can push it towards the top of my list but right now I have some OPs to plan for so I need to get kits ready for them before its too late, I did that last year and it was a crap shoot to get everything at the last minute. If I have enough left over from my next paycheck I will try to put an order in to Evike and swipe one just to test it and maybe put it in my custom M4 or something. I can't promise anything yet tho.
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : Okay, yea waiting till the last minute is a pain in the ass because sometimes things run out and you have to wait for it to restock. I just installed my Burst Chip, omg its so crazy dude! I can have it shoot between 1-7 bursts. Isn't that amazing? lol. Since its running on Lipo, its still a bit hard to maintain the bullets bcuz it runs out so quick.
DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago
@DeAthZReApEr760 Ya I know about those mosfets, I installed one on my friends G&P for him. I'm not a big fan of them tho as it uses a screw which seems like it could be a bad if it rains or gets water in the front hand guard (that's where we put his.) The idea is a great one, I just don't feel like frying my wiring, lol. I've got $40 left over from this paycheck, I'll try to save it and combine it with my extras from my next paycheck to get it, if I have enough, ok?
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : Yea the Burst Mosfet Chip is awesome! I have mine heat shrinked so most likely it won't get wet and its mostly sunny over here in Cali. Mine is also located in my hand guard, I might do a video of it soon when I get my camera up and running. Yea, that sounds great! I just can't wait for the Tremors kit, I know it might have a 75% chance and who knows, you might be the first to add the Tremors Kit on a M4 thats not a M4 like u said. lol. All I can do now is wait for you to do it.
DeAthZReApEr760 1 year ago
@DeAthZReApEr760 Ok, I'll try my best, no promises still. I think I have an idea of how I could install it but I've got a few probs with the stock I think, mainly the buffer tube, but we will see soon enough I guess.
bolingersa 1 year ago
@bolingersa : Yea I think the buffer tube might be a problem because I've taken mine apart and it seems different from others.

i hope the bb feeder lip isnt made of plastic. the green gas ghk mags were great apart from the feeder lip that split after about 3 fills...

How many rounds does it carry? and how many rounds fire with one 12g co2?
warsoul2k7 1 year ago
@warsoul2k7
40rounds, and depends on the temperature ,when temperature is around 2 degree C ,it can fire 2 mag.
gasgunman1 1 year ago
Kinda sucks that it needs a socket wrench to change the CO2 bulb.
Bjornieman 1 year ago
@Bjornieman its a 6mm allen wrench
