Hi Kyle, quick question as I'm learning this piece, at the start of bar 60 (on the transcription on your site) the first right hand chord reads as (and the vid shows you play as) I think a first inversion f# minor chord, but sounds like second inversion (my theory isnt great, hope I'm naming these right). You have muscles right below your fingers on the palm of your hand that allow the bending movement you use to push your finger down while curled. Feel along the joints and pull your finger back while it is bent. It will push out the muscle. You're arms really only need to move left and right when you play piano and you use your finger muscles to push down on the keys and not hurt your self.

I love this piece, however impressed I am with Kyles improvisations on this I can't help thinking it's a little overboard. The original masterpiece by Nobuo is spot on, slow with rich and powerful chords and the elaborations are few but perfectly placed. Dont get me wrong, this is awesome but I'm a vanilla dude at heart. It loses some of it's power and meaning in this version imho. *awaits my ass being handed to me on a plate....*

What I love about the piano is that one note can make a chord into a different chord. No matter if you are playing the same 6 notes in the bass line, you throw a note in the right hand and you have a different feel. What I heart about Kyle is that he innately knows these things about it....
