I appreciate you posting this - I just saved myself $40 and did the replacement in less than 10 minutes thanks to this video. Now that is the kind of savings I love most!
Thanks for posting this! I finally came to my senses and did it myself. Let's see: $69.99 to the Honda dealer vs. $17.29 + 15 minutes of own purchase/replace time. You make the call.
Thank you so much! I started taking all kinds of things apart beneath the dash before I figured I would look it up. For me I just had to unscrew two screws to pull the glove compartment out. I'm glad Honda couldn't deign to put a paragraph synopsis in the manual rather than "Have your Honda dealer replace this." Thanks again!
@Xainlrd It filters the air you breathe inside the car. You do not want to breathe polluted air. So just as you change the air filter (in the car engine) to make your car run nice, you should change the cabin filter to keep you healthy. :-)
I have a 2006 Mazda MPV and the dealership said they had to take the whole dash out just to do this procedure. Thank you so much for saving me $107, they really try and get over but if you dont ask, you dont know!
This is terrific, thanks for taking the time to record and post this. Repairs shops really make a killing because ordinary folks just don't know how easy it is to do it.
Thanks so much!! Jiffy Lube told me it was going to be 60$ for them to change my filter including maitenence. Now after watching this I can do it myself ! Yay :-) Thanks again dude!!
JiffyTube wanted $40; Honda dealer wanted even more. I wasn't paying attention, but I knew that if the JiffyTube guy was able to access so quickly that it couldn't be that hard. LOL.
Thanks for the video. I paid $21 for the filter at AutoZone.
I replaced mine not to long ago on my 99 accord. The difference between these two generations is that on the 03-07's. YOU DON'T have to take out the WHOLE FRIGGIN DASH!!!
I can't believe how easy it is to install this filter! This Chevron gas station auto repair shop was going to charge me $60 telling me its difficult to install
Great videos and thanks for sharing!

This was a great help! The book didn't even say where the filter was. It is so easy that a 58 year old grandma can do it!
Thanks
