damn man... i adored the influence that old school r&b had on hip hop culture... Bernard Wright is just one of many influenced sounds you hear in 90's hip-hop. Club Nouveau, Dennis Edwards, Bobby Caldwell, The Isley Brothers, Sylvia Striplin, need I say more? Hip-Hop at that time was an Ode to classic black music. Now it's corroded with guido-washed techno gay-rave and corny ass lyrics. I miss the essential "laid-back" gangsta style of the 90s.
