i love your tutorials. i took a pole dance class a while back...i want to purchase a pole so i can set up in my home, which pole brand do you recommend? is there one that stationary AND spins? I danced using a stationary pole before, not sure how a spinny is..what would you recommend? thank you! btw, can you do a tutorial on some warm up moves/exercises? what exercises could help me build upper body and inner thigh strength necessary for pole dancing? again, thanks! ;D

@chrissyolivia xpole xpert 45mm is the pole I'm currently using. I only do pole for upper body strength and i don't really work on my inner thighs besides what I do on the pole. Any strength and conditioning exercises will build up strength, so search on youtube for them.

Do you have any suggestions on what kind of pole to get and where? I haven't pole danced since I was 21 and i'm 36 now. At the moment just have a portable one which I dont trust! and I have had back surgery and have lupus & fibro so I thought maybe this would help me get back into a toned shape i used to be when i was modeling..... but I need to make sure I do it safely.... any advise would be great i love the way you dance/move. keep up the great ork and videos....

@Jolenebailey i use and recommend xpoles. Stay away from peekaboo poles or ones that are cheap. Means they ARE cheap

What do you use to clean your pole? I am constantly slipping on my xpole, Rubbing alcohol works for me sometimes, and I tried vodka, it's a little bit better but I still slip all the time!

@dirdybirdy101 Yes and no...I do sweat a lot but it almost leaves a slippery coating on the pole...sometimes if I just clean it, the second I touch it you can see my handprints and it's super slippery. It's only about 2 months old so I don't know if it's still factory wax or what but it's very frustrating!

That video contained some of the smoothest and most beautiful transitions I have seen in a long time. First,there was the butterfly that you so expertly spun from the hands free crunch spin at at 00:53 . Then there was the high knee hold so perfectly placed from the spinny straddle at 1:44, and then the very unusual armhold transition from armpit to the elbow hold a few moments later. But hands down, THE loveliest transition of 2011 so far was that swan to cross ankle release at 3:17 ! Bravo! ..
