sometimes for fast trains it helps to right down the engine number like in ur phone or somethin, ive done it before

Haha yeah that's usually what I do, for some reason I forgot this time. I was probably too involved with taking pictures of the freight to remember to look.

You're right, that's what it says lol. Caltrain displays the train number on the front of its MP36's, unlike Metrolink, which shows the unit #.

Yeah, I think Caltrain is one of the only railroads that actually has this feature, since most of the others have just an unchangeable number on the nose. Caltrain's in an LED screen which you can change, kinda like a bus.

Love the sorta distant shots (like at 5:05 ) with the signals. Also REALLY love the 'parting shot' at 9:42 with the all-red signals etc! Looked like a departing plane at 8:50 (or UFO, LoL!). Very nice collection of trains, great vid!
